Well here it is, VW night mare. Yes I got a rod knox 1 week before the VW show. Lucky, I guess, I had the Bradley GTII motor, so in it went.

Took the Trike 1835 engine apart to look to see why it was knocking at low speed. The 2 jugs #1 & 2 which I had replace earlier, looks like #1 was leaking. I didn't know at that time you were support to lap them in. Then on #3 which I hadn't worked on, had something banging around in it, nothing came out with the head. If new, maybe the guy which installed the duel carbs had dropped something in the intake? Don't know what that small 1/2 circle on top could have been Hopefully can reuse the head & piston, jug is ok.

Skip20,
Don't worry about feeding them...just "play" with them. Make sure and wash your hands first!

Too bad, I just hit up the VW Bug Run at the US 131 Motorsports park in Martin Mi yesterday and we had awesome weather, best we had here in about 3 weeks. getting rain today though.
-As a sidenote, does anyone have a problem with the right rear spark plug loosening its self up and popping out of the head? thats happened to me 3 times now, just glad there wasn't hardly anyone around when it happened.
