If the BOSS MAN say OK, I will post the VW Trike build here with info. The Idea started with this left over from the White GTII. The engine is gone. And finding the 1835 VW engine in the Junk junk. After a few repairs. $500.00 Then found a Honda V-65 MAGNA front end with neck for $300.00 at a MC junk yard. So started to build a stand to hold it up. Will be mounted at 45 angle on the forks. Them at another junk yard found some nice tires & mount & balanced them to Chevy rims I had laying around. $78.00. Picked 1 pair of Chevy adp. to the VW $50.00 This is the body I will pop out my molds to go on the Trike. May have to widen it a little to fit. Gee the same rims! Give your vote to keep it here, YES or NO!

Sure, keep it. It's all fun, and we can all learn something from anyone or anything -- even if it's what not to do.
Always love seeing what you're up to.
Warmest...

Thank you Jeff, I may someday get one of your CD. OK built the framing to hold the MC front end. Nice & level. Forks are at 45. Good thing I don't have to ride like this. Next, cut the MC frame off the neck.

This is it for now, need to find a seat to use to figure out how long to make. The tunnel will be getting cut off or down. The Fiberglass body will need to be widen 6" so far. See the GTII in the back waiting to get her wiring finished.

This is it for today, wife taking me to a movie & dinner for my 63th. This AM cut the frame rails off of the tree cleaned up & light coat of paint. Used: saw-All, 4.5" Cut-off wheel, grinder, floppy sanding disk, acetone & paint. By the way, there are no plans for this build, just on the fly! Note air shocks on forks!

OMG, the Skipper is building multiple projects at once, with the trike on the fly, figuring it out as he goes, and running around 24/7 on these projects...still has time to post this stuff on the Bradley site... and is 63 YEARS OLD !!! No wonder he can do all this stuff... He is still barely out of puppy stage

Not to much today. Cut the sheet metal off around the rear end. Picked up a chair from Walmark foe $109.00. May cut off the arm rest, maybe. Got an idea as to what to do next. Needed the seat to setup the shifter.

Would be better with the gt2 rear. Hey why don't you mould the yellow one? The flip open would look great.

Returned the office chair & went looking. Found a boat seat at Walmark $15.00 Then found an old rocker at a Thrift Store $11.00 Would have to mod the bottom flat & lower to mount to Trike, but I like it. Any ideas?Could find the old fiberglass seats of old.

Last night cut down the rocker seat to more of my liking. Fits nicely now. With the seat setup was able to figure were the shifter would go. Cut the shifter plate off the tunnel & moved it back. Welded all around. Now to figure out the rod length.

Shifter rod is welded up & installed. Nest step, remove body & start building the new frame. Here's a mock up.

Got the uprights tack in. They are at 63 degrees. You can see how I cramped extra tubing on it so everything is pumped. Next will tilt both to the inside to mount to front end. All of this info is from watching alot of youtube & seeing what others have done.

Hope to see some nice glass work to blend the front of the bradley into the front of the chassis. Looking good so far.

Started to bend the up right to center of frame. Using a T-square - squared to the frame for center of the neck.

Finally got the up rights bent in & centered. The hardest part of the build so far. Notch for the neck part to be welded in. So far, all of the metal has been 2"x 3"X 1/4" It's getting CLOSE!
