Right now the handlebars are just about level with the top on the body. Thinking 12-15" from the body to top of the bar. Roll bar is purely cosmetic as its drilled though the body & into the plywood about 2", Will have one bolt though the body to hold it. Really like your & it's a good color as well.

Hey Dan is Skip gonna have those tilt-o-matic exhausts, for when he lifts the body? KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Man! Won't need them as the top of the outlet holes move rearward as the body opens.. He may need a slightly larger opening is all.

Now, we are back to "what do we do with the existing holes". Knowing you, they will be patched with fiberglass and painted.

Think maybe 3" red reflector if I can find them that big. The holes are 2.5". More lights not sure of, will have 2 tail lights + the yellow & red led up the in body vent holes & maybe a 3 brake light in the center of the roll bar. "patched with fiberglass and painted" Already thought of that & to much work!

Staying with the Motorcycle/Trike Theme, How bout these Tail Lights? I cut out on the Laser new backing plate to fit inside the buckets to hid all of the old holes. Also cut out silver plate to replace the Lic. light lens at the bottom of it.

The luggage rack for a Honda GoldWing GL1500 is now mounted to the trunk lid. Bikers may notice it is backwards. Think it fits better that way. Cut recessed holds under the lid to clear the bolts & washers to the fiberglass of the outer lid cover. Now I need to remember were I put the LCD lights I plan on installing in the rear vent holds.

My Goldwing has that luggage rack mounted the other way around. But, I think it looks better the way you have it.

Nice rainy day, all day, so no taking the trike outside to grind the fiberglas. Guess it's going to be a 3D printer day.

Ok, so it stopped raining a little, but raining now. Was able to ride the Trike outside & grind down the fiberglass work which was done on it. Need to add some mat to the inside & build up the outside edges a little.

WOW warm 80 weather here today, great for fiberglassing. So built up the mat on the R/S Bradley GTII fender, grind & starting to shape it with an inline sander. L/S still need to build up the corners before sanding.

Got all of the tail lights wired & working. So now to remove the body, will need to unplug the tail lights, rev. light plugs, remove the lic. plate & pull the 2 pins in the rear & lift the body off. Plug in the T/L's & rev light. mount lic. plate & it's back to a VW Trike. Grind down all of the body cracks, & gel coat cracks, added resin paste, sanded then apply 1 - 2 layers of 1.5oz mat the repair the areas.

Body Work has been started. 1st layup & sanded with inline sander using 60 Grit. This cover all the new glass work plus repairs of all the cracks. You may notice that the went-to-be Roll-Bar has been shorted 3 more inches. The top side of the seat area doesn't need to be done as the cover will wrap around & snapped in place. Seat base will also go all the way down it front.

Horen2tas,
That just goes to show that, when we work on these things, we put a little bit of ourselves into them. I guess that you could say that they represent a reflection of who we are as a person.

She has her underwear on with some work still to do. Also undercoated the inside to keep her warm in the winter. THIS IS A MUST DO, UNDERCOAT TO KEEP THE RAIN & ROAD GRIM IN CHECK. FIBERGLASS IS NOT WATER PROOF & WILL ABSORB IT MAKE IT WEAK. I used an Heavy Duty Rubberized Undercoat I found at a discount store for only $3.00 a can. Could cost up to $10.00 a can, so look around. You may want to buy the case as just this 1/2 body took 5 cans.

Oh oh, new tail lights!!!! Here you see the 2 Motorcycle lights I got off eBay. Had to trim & sand the edges down to fit my needs. Here it is mounted in the housing with the black plastic backing I cut out on the laser machine Housing was trimmed to fit the edge of the light so as to get all the lighting to work.
