Clutch is finished & hooked up. Changed plans & will mount brake between the rails instead of sticking out in the front. Working on the brakes now. Will make a bracket to mount the master, the foot pedal is finished now. Problem has come up, The gas pedal pulls the cable in a VW & I need to come up with a cranks to push down on the pedal the pulls the cable? ? I don't want the tube coming up to it like in the car. Thinking maybe 2 straight bell cranks.

Will make a bracket to mount the master, the foot pedal is finished now. Or run a shaft from the gas pedal to the center like clutch and brake pedals . Bell cranks can add up to resistance the last thing you want on the gas pedal. Off setting the pedal closer to you could allow the room for the shaft to run to the center. Just my 2 cents Problem has come up, The gas pedal pulls the cable in a VW & I need to come up with a cranks to push down on the pedal the pulls the cable? ? Not to much today due to running around & the name tags to do. Brake master painted YELLOW so I can see it at night & has been mounted, next need to brace the mount. This is the 3/4" bore master. For now will be using only the VW rear brakes till I can find a way the adp. the front MC hose. There will be a lock nut on the rod later. Didn't want the handlebar controls, but just may go that way so I can put my feet UP!

Found 2 wheel spacer 1.25" on Craig list for $3.00 pr. Now the wheels look better. These things are like $50.00 each in the stores. Need bigger tires!

Popping her 1st wheely! No really just getting under to finish some welding.I hate welding upsidedown! Brake master all braced & ready for paint. Painted & master bolted down tight. Take the body off again to run new brake line. 4/16, brake line is on.

Brake master, front & rear lines are now finished. Hard to believe, but I found a brake line in my M/C parts which went from the round hole to a brake line. However had to cut the metal line & flair it as the two end are different. Now to mount the bottle & cut the hose to fit it.

So here they are, some something like them on YouTube. The seat lays me back, that's why they look long. Will be using Honda GoldWing controls & will have to weld their tube on to do so.

I would never use the same brake master for the front wheel, No way to regulate the brake bias. Every stop on a bike is different.

How are you going to maintain throttle position during left turns?

I have to admit, I admire the skills of so many members as to fabrication and the tools they have to do it, not to mention the space to do all of these projects. I have worked in an office all my career and while I am not afraid to try doing mechanical work, electrical work, body work, the creative fabrication part eludes me. I thought I was doing well to make my own stereo and speaker box for the rear shelf of my Bradley. The work that Skip, Bob and others can pull off is great. Love to see these pictures and marvel at the process.

How are you going to maintain throttle position during left turns? Very carefully! The cable would have to be long to match the turning so it doesn't pull the cable.

Duel line master w/ adjustable p valve coming up. I recommend you use the bike master and right handlebar lever for the front brake. You will not be able to constantly adjust the manual p valve as raod conditions change. Also the master is already engineered for the bore of the front calipers. This in conjunction with the right twist grip for throttle. Just like on a bike you will have better control. Roll off throttle when getting on brakes and onto throttle as the front brake disengages.

Dan's right, Pete reconfigured a phone pole using a common M/C for all the brakes on his trike. You'll be running that front wheel in the oily part of the lane so it's easy to lock it up

With such long handlebars are you able to keep 2 hands on the grips when at full turn? Run the trottle cable down at the steering bearing to minimize pull on the throttle when steering. Don't mean to bring you down with all my points as you are doing great work. I just don't want to see you or someone else get hurt when this is being driven. From what I understand, here in Canada there must be a min of 25% weight distribution over the front wheel. Not a bad idea to keep this in mind. Remember that once the front wheel looses friction with the pavement it is no longer fun to ride.

M/C junk yard down South TN then VW shop North TN, love long drives. Returned the seat & picked shifter kit, The tans was in gear when I shorten it, REDO! 40 miles one way M/C yard, hand grips & brake master w/ coffee cup holder, $30.00, 50 min drive one way. Any who, they are test mounted with the cable almost center of the neck. By the way that hole was already there, just made it a little bigger. Hopefully all the wires will go into the handle bar tube.
