Old RED is getting her nutsty paint with ALOT of runs, sanded down with 80G on a DA. After , will do 150G, then 220-350 before putty & primer. It's 40 degress outside so only got about 1/2 done before my hands froze up. So here she. Just washed off all the red dust so she's shiny. Some may remember the body in the back ground for the Subaru 3 wheel car. It will also be worked on & painted this summer.

Will wet sand all the jams the spray the Blue paint with clear. Wet sand the whole body with 400g then 600g for the complete paint job with the door & other parts in place.

I got outbid on the Red Bradley up in Maryland on eBay. Loss the glass I need. I have 2 of these scoop laying around the shop. They are want-to-be Shelby Mustang scoops. They were going to go on the Yellow GTII, but made my own for that. What do you think if it? It would mean the paint job will be delayed & I would also glass the roof to the body as the other owner painted it.

New Floor Boards are installed. The hardest part was getting the body off. Will be adding a 3" seat drop to fit the Ferio seats So I cut the 1/2" off the tunnel & welded the bottom plate back together using the small floor jack to hold it in place. Then welded in the front & rear of the pan leaving the drop area free. So both pans are in ready to cut for the drop.

I'm glad that you decided (with a little encouragement)to use fiber glass. We get to enjoy the pictures of your technique and progress, while you get to enjoy the smell of the resin. You can imagine the desserts while you work....

Laid in some Bondo in the joint then pressed down the roof installing the bolt in the roll bar for alinement. Drill, recessed holes for S/S screws to hold the roof down. After sanding area, laid 2 layers of 1.5oz mat & waiting foe it to cure. Covered the sides of the body so as not to get Bondo or resin on it making me more work. Also glass some on the inside for added strength.

Bondo & glassed the other side. Driver sided cured so sanded with 4.5" disc & the #80g on DA sanded. Not to bad for 3 hours work. Could start Bondo work on the driver side waiting for the other side to cure!

Took a while to get back to work on the frame, but today I did. Finished all of the welding of the inside dropped floors. Rolled it outside & pressure wash to top side. Then carefully by myself, lifted up the front all the way to the sky then lost it coming down on the shifter. Should had left it off, but just put the rod back in w/ new bushing. Next do all the welding on the bottom, seal all the seals & then paint it with the truck bed coating.

I think that she might be able to lift the whole car, twirl it over her head and set it down without breaking your shifter. You might want to use some "protection" for your stick, though. She might break it off and then you would have to pee sitting down! I think that you need to stay with the two deserts that horen2tas gave you earlier.

Sealer dried fast, so was able to finish the 2 coat of paint on the bottom. Got someone to help me this time & flipped it back over. Sealed the seams & started 1st coat of paint topside. Now to wait for the sealer to dry again & finish painting it. took 3 tubes of sealer to do anything & 1 gal of truck bed paint. Next will be the floors.

here is today's plan, Lay down some sound proofing. Got this in the roofing dept. of Home Depot. You will need a roller (red wheel) & razor knife to cut it. Did the picture with 1 roll. You will need 3 rolls of it (75')

Well it took 2 1/2 rolls to finish up the floor pan. So maybe 3 more rolls to do the body after the paint job, if I ever get a around to it. So 6 rolls your looking at about $100.00 frame & body.

Did a little more work on the frame toady, no bodywork as yet has been done. Cleaned & paint the front end, will get all 4 ball joint in the morning. Cleaned & de-rusted the Bradley parts & mount the gas tank adding rubber to the mount & brackets. Mounted brake master & ran new brakes front to rear. New brake lines in the rear. Trans is just sitting there as need new mount for it. Replace output shaft seal also, may not have needed it.
