I got off work today walked out into 90 degrees, sunny, nice drive home from work yep yep Heard about you yuppy out on the West coast! You forget I'm an Hawaiian Boy for 36 years. Did get to go play a little today. Clean carb on the 1835 VW & got it running good now. Also had to do front brake pads & rotor on the 2006 Ranger. And sold the Honda seats that won't fit in the Bradley.

Working on the Red GTII. Wiring. Touch up the front bumper. Install one of my new front badges. Remover rear bumper rubber & relocated the mounting brackets to fit this car. Fiberglass a crack in the middle & body worked. Mounted to the car & painted. Reinstalled the rubber. Also weld a 1/4 tab on both door latches so it would open easier.

Front should be finish beside H/L door adjusted. Gas tank in & plumbed to elec pump to reg to carb. There will be an on/off switch under the dash so it can be turn off when working on the wiring. Can also see a little of the elec ram for the H/L doors . Here my fix for the trailer light adp. they use for the rear lights. I mount a single wire plug with an 1156 bulb to the base. Then run one wire to the front for brake light. The stock 1157 bulb can then be used for park & turn, ot park/stop & use the 1156 for turn. Cost $13.00, 2- sockets & 2 bulbs. If your working on yours then you should have the wire. Trailer adp. about $25.00

After over 25 hours of driving & $300.00 in gas, the Bradley GTII was a junk. The so call GOOD glass! the w/s is fogged up on the sides & bottom, the door do have good glass after a heavy pressure wash with paint on them, so thats all I got out of all of that driving.

Sometimes you get chicken...sometimes you get feathers. The doors look good, though.
Thanks for letting us know the true condition of the parts.

How 'bout airbrush a tint on those edges? May work and look like it's supposed to be that way.
When you're driving those edges are looking at the hood and fenders - - so not so bad!

OK, after 4 months of cold , it's in the 60's today & back to work on the Red Bradley. Here is a little fit I did to the back window catch. Removed the S/S plate on the window, carefully, & had a S/S nut welded to it. Got a new chrome carriage bolt & remounted it back to the glass. Used a VW Bug front hood catch with 2 washers & a spring. It catch was the cut down to the bottopm of the treads leaving about 4-5 thread to screw into the new S/S nut on the window. Them removed the carpet on rear panel & remove the cover plat to get to the latch plate. Remover the latch plate & remounted it under the body to get clearance for the new catch. Lubed up the pull cable, & now the window closes easyly & pops open when I pull the cable. Also good time to replace that 35 year old rubber seal & carpet.

Also started to mount the 2 gull-wing door with glass in them, what a pain the the butt. Removed bolts from the hinges mounted on the body & the bolt plate fell inside, so had to cut the headliner aroung the folded over edge & remove the headliner to get them back. I have new rams mounted to hold the doors up, work great.

warm weather coming, but we did get some Snow a few days ago. Last year I put up this Harbor Fright car port for the wife's new car to keep the tree junk off of it. It held up pretty good though the winter with all the snow & rain. The car port list at $299.00, on Sale $199.00, with 25% off came down to 149.00, Great Deal!!!! However I modified this one to fit in the space without blocking the main car Port. Straighten out the 4 legs & mounted a 2"x6" board across the car port to mount the legs to. Now I have a nice covered area to work on the Bradley's

The new car port is FINISHED! After the 1st rain it got water puddles at the end of the sloop down. So I pulled the tab over tight & screwed it down including fender washer. Then add 6" gutter to catch the water so I don't get wet walking thought it. Lastly added a few flou lights in there using an ext. cord. Have to add new elec. outlet in the big car port for it. Back to work on the Red Bradley GTII & Bradley VW Trike.

Be careful with those chap car ports. They typically last 2 winters. Mine was sagging and starting to split. The turn buckles blew apart. I decided to move my bikes out from under it. Next day it collapsed. Your modified one is now very weak.

Had to do a little fiberglass repair in the old girl from getting on the trailer & off. Front lower corner of the L/S fender got cracked off & she drag her ass on the gate.
