And this is easier to do with the pans out of the car. Looks like you still have the stock seat rails on the pans. You'll likely need to remove them to install seats that will work with the Bradley. Regards.... The pans are not installed yet. They are just fitted. I am going to remove the rails

Full of dumb questions today. Do these sliders just bolt to the floor pan? I am going to be using the stock GT1 seats

It has been just way to hot to be in the garage the past few days so little has gotten done. The body has been all sanded, and I am going to have a body guy I know do the prep before paint. I am hoping he can get to it by the weekend. I just ordered the wiring harness and seat sliders but have yet to cut out the rails on the new pan. Thats about all I have to report

So excited! The final prep work on the body is being done today and if all goes well the car will have its new green skin by mid next week. I will try and get some photos later.

Is there a reason the rear view mirrors on a bradley were on the hood? Has anyone ever put them in a normal position? If so how did it look?

I would recommend the mirrors be one of the last things you add. Sit in the car and see where you can actually see them from. Based on the design there is really few places that work. The way I placed them was less than optimal. Also, watch for door clearances.

Hey I have a few questions. What are people using for hinges for the engine lid? Also what so the lid (hood) pins attach to?

I used a key/lock combo from Home Depot, some flat aluminum stock and some 1" aluminum angle. Clean and functional.

Good ideas guys. I am at a point now where I have to start writing down all of the finishing details . Since the paint should be done in a few days I expect to move pretty quick from here.

Looks nice. Are you going to use the Vette wheels and tires? I think that they look really nice on the car.

No I do not have any plans to use the vette rims. I personally think they are to big.

I just painted a customers 55 Chevy with the same green, and white on the quarters and roof. The color is so bright and clean. Pictures can not show the true beauty.

Well I have decided pretty quick that I do not like wiring..hahaha. Let me ask you guys something. Are you using both tail lights on each side for turn signals and brake lights or are you separating them?
|
|
|
Post by jspbtown on Sept 6, 2011 21:16:28 GMT -5
Much, much, much easier to have two act as turn signals, two act as brake lights, and all 4 as your parking lights.
