Cut the front section of the stock dash out so I can get to the metal firewall & attach it to the body. This will be mounting the complete AC/Heater unit to it. The rad. pipes, shifter rod & wiring will be going down the tunnel. Junk yard run Wed.

Skip,
You're very good with fiberglass and I'm needing help. I'm the guy in Thailand that has a GTII body that came from the US. In Thailand the steering is on the opposite side so I've got to figure how to either replace the factory dash or somehow make one like the original by flipping it if you understand what I'm trying to say. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, John

Grinded the W/S posts to smooth out & added a finish coat of the putty. Will sand then 2-3 layers of 1.5oz mat to in-cast the whole posts. Layed the W/S in to check it still fits right

Started to work on the inner front fenders & fill in the big hole & set it up for the flip front end. I'm adding 2" back on the body from the hood. Will be cutting new plywood to shape the inner fenders & step up to the air box section.

OK, I'm back working on the Bradley SS. Shaping out a trunk for the back. This will be mounted to the frame with rubber seals on top. The rear section of the body flips & don't want anything in the trunk to fall out if it was mounted to the body. Pictures are a little hard to figure, but build it with the 1/8" Tile Board & 1"x1" wood outside corners, which aren't cheap. They are now $1.45 per foot. The sides are not mounted yet but are the next thing to do. Have to wait for the glue to dry every time I make & add a new part to it. Had to put the trans back in the frame to make sure I have the clearance for it. The box is finished & will it dry over night. So Fiberglassing it on Wed. This is what they call a one shot mold. When finished will peal off the outside board & will have a nice smooth surface. The inside will be carpeted much later.

Sprayed 2 coats of release to the inside & let dry. The trunk is all glassed & rolled out after 2.5 hours. Trimmed around the top to edge of board. Here's the outside after the tile board was removed. And the inside.

Here's the trunk sitting in the back of the Bradley. Need to find a rubber seal to fit it, then trim the top to match the body when closed. Finally started to glass in the rear fender support to hold the shape to match the body as will as support the rear when down. I cut the supports out of the old trunk lid mold & they had support glassed onto them already. The panel is propped on the rear body of a 3 Wheel car I'm also working on which I',m posting the build on the Gold Wing site as a Trike build. Can can see it here starting from the beginning. www.goldwingfacts.com/forums/forum1/125443.html

Took the rear wheels off to be able to get in there to do some more work. Thought it would be a good time to show the rear end. You can see the pump for the Mustang rams on top in front of the new trunk also. That's the complete rear end off a '89 Toy. Supra. Removed the PH & mounted racing adjustable coil over shocks.

After cutting away the old box, started to box in the new box which will fit the MR2 side scoops better. Will also need to glass the inside of the box against the weather. Also glassed the other sides of the rear section braces I did yesterday. You may have notice I got a new camera which is HD wide angle.

Here 2 pictures showing the MR-2 side scoops. It will have a divider in the middle so one will go to engine comp. & the other the rear disc brake cover.

Skip - congrats on the new camera, looks good! I like the idea of the split venting. Will you make a grp copy of the MR2 vent or just glass in the MR2 part? Is the MR2 part plastic or metal? I always enjoy your posts. Jon

I always enjoy your posts. Jon Thank you for the kind words. The old camera kept jumping off the work bench & finally give up the grost. The scoops are fiberglass & will use as is. Would be great if I could find the doors to make a copy the the scoop dish instead of having to shape them.

Hey Skip, I was just looking at your pics and every time I do the windshield pillars stand out like sore thumbs at the bottom Maybe you could build it up on the side at the bottom to line up the side with the rest of the body. From the pictures it makes the windsield has a differant rake than what it actually is. Please don't take offence could be my eyes! ;D
