Hey Skip, I was just looking at your pics and every time I do the windshield pillars stand out like sore thumbs at the bottom Maybe you could build it up on the side at the bottom to line up the side with the rest of the body. From the pictures it makes the windsield has a differant rake than what it actually is. Please don't take offence could be my eyes! ;D Sorry to report but it is thicker at the bottom due to the fact the W/S is a little taller then stock & had to lean it back some. By the way It's a 280ZX W/S

yes was just thinking the fit would look more natural if it had the same distance from bottom to top on the sides and the front have the differant angle more or less triangled at the base don't get me wrong it looks super and everything you have done has been top notch so i'm not nocking your work not one bit Keep up the good work

Got the front panel & center divider glassed in for to mr2 scoop. Been using the old trunk lid & mold to get the flat fiberglass panels I needed. Will leave open to be able to glass in there when I left & flip the body. Next is the trim & glass the scoop panel on the body.

After a some trimming got the scoop to fit the Bradley pretty good. Sanded off the gel coat & paint, fitted it on the hole I made for it. A few cramps to hold it, then 1 layer of 1.5oz may to mount it. After cured will sand it down & add 2 -3 more layer of mat. Being up on the platform & off the floor makes it a lot easier to work on these low areas. I guess now I need to get some coffee & think about the other side!

I can see there's a few people watching this! I'm sure some of you may have a few commit about. Would like to see more reply's with good or bad ideas & commits. This is a family & love to hear any pro's or con's. I have used a few of them in the past. Hey Dan MacMillan, would you like to do my wiring harness also?

Started to rebuild & extend the R/S air box. Cut out toe 2 plywood braces the will get in the way when I mount the scoop. Using 3/8" form, shaped the top & rear of the box, now that I know what I'm, just copy the L/S. Went ahead & put 2 layer of mat down to hold it in place. Next will shape the engine side section & get it glassed in.

Finished building & shaping the air box on the R/S. Laid 3 layers or more of the 1.5oz mat. This one is more finished then the L/S.Still need to finish the engine side of the L/S air box. Next will be to cut out the rocker panel for the MR2 scoop. Then box, divide & glass the inside before mounting the scoop.

OK, cut the hole for the scoop & fitted into it. Glass not totally cure so I guess the next part of closing in the box on the inside will be tomorrow. No pictures of that as it will be the same as the L/S.

I have been following your build since you started posting it. Great work so far, The only problem I can see is that I don't own any stocks in fiberglass materials or sanding discs!

BTW, Whats the status of the GT with T-tops and DelSol rear window? I know you are busy on your own car - just curious. Jon Due to to many things going on with him, it's been on hold till maybe Jan. 12 when he gets out of ITT School. Also with the Hail Storm we had back in April, the W/S broke. T-Tops are ok as they are in the garage.

OK, the R/S rear scoop is all glassed in & sanded. Also the L/S air box is finished as will. Don't know what's next, there is so much to think about.

Skip I would like to know what front end did you use? I'm working on a gt project like yours. I'm using a 2.2 GM FWD set up in the rear and don't know what to use on the front . Thanks RB

Not to much to report as I've had to get some work done on my engraving business. Mostly been doing some clean up on the rear hatch. I did mount the power ant though.

Got the trunk lid trimmed a little to get a basic fit. Had to add a 3/4" block to the trunk hinge mount to get it to fit. That will be replaced with 1/2" block before I glass the spacer blocks in, seeing how that will add about 3/16" with 3 layer of 1.5oz mat. Open's good but will still need some adjusting & trimming to fit perfect. Have to sand & trim the edge slow so I don't screw it up & have to much gap around it. Have the rubber seal installed to make sure it will seal & have the correct height as I work on it. Also you will notice the rear hatch is flipped open.

Finally finished timing & edging the trunk lid & hinges & works very smooth. So now I'm setting up the spoiler. Have to move the outer supports in a little & remount them. Then will be able to drill the hole in the deck lid. Will also need to lengthen the center support. The tips hang out about 3" each side with 3/4" from the sides & rear edge. Let me know what you think. Will be a little hard to narrow it as there is a 3th Brake light in it. I like how the supports match the side wings on the body. Wish I could remember what it came off of. Must be USA as the mounting studs are 1/4"

The spoiler side mount are modified & mounted. Will need about 1/4" wedge spacer in the center & a piece of rubber should fill that & seal it at the same time. Tight space to get a picture of the rear!

Wow! Looking at my post on page 1, I made the trunk lid over a year ago. Time fly's when your having fun doing what you enjoy! Reading the post helps figure out what I've been up to & what I need to work on. CRS doesn't help.
