This is the Bradley GT II I found on eBay thanks to a link from bradleygt2ontario Post. You can see it here till eBay removes it, I think 90 days. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bradley-G-T-KIT-CAR-on-1970-VW-Beetle-Chasis-PROJECT-CAR-New-parts-NO-RESERVE-/261042560467?pt=Other_Vehicles_Everything_Else&hash=item3cc7595dd3Long story, After driving 11 hours to PA. waited 4 hours for the BIG JERK to show up to open the shop. He then help pushed to Bradley to much & it flew over the dolly with the wheels hanging over the front. After 1.5 hours of trying to get it back up, give up & drove off. Got out of PA into Delaware just before exit 1 the 91 ford ranger over heated. took Exit 2 & made it to a Wawa gas station. The fan relay did not turn the fan on!!!!!! PISSED, that was the 3th one. Some guys hanging out at the Wawa, I call them the "WAWA GANG" came over with a flash light & we found the rad plastic tank had blown off also. It was now midnight, so stayed in a Motel They drove me tp it,& walked back to Wawa in the AM. Took out the Rad & tried to repair it, NO LUCK, the water leaked out. Towed to PEP BOYS in the back & got a new Rad & fluids. Put the elec. fan on with a switch. Engine & ran OK! Went back to Wawa & filled up the gas tank. Missed the I 295 interstate, turned around to get back to it & the temp went UP. Stop to check it, fans on, bubbles & steam coming out of the over flow bottle. Made it back to PEP BOYS crying. Had to get the towing dolly back to Knoxville by Tuesday night. No Money. Sold the Ranger for $275.00 with the new Rad ($147.00) 20 gals ($3.29 Gal) of gas & bad heads. You do the Math! The tow driver got me a great deal on a pick up to drive back home ($300.00) When back to Wawa for gas & see my new friend to thank them for all the help they give me. Next thing I know they were on the ground with floor jack & blocks & got the Bradley back up the Dolly, WOW. Would take no money but got them all drinks. So I didn't get back on the road till about midnight. Drove about 4 hours of the 10 hour trip & had to sleep, clashed out in the back of the Dodge RAH 2500 HEMI (12 MPG!!!!). Back on the road & made it to 56 miles into TN & the tire blow out on the VW. Took the front tire & put back on the rear & back on the road again. Made it home about 3:30 PM, Push the Bradley off the Dolly & turned in the Dolly & Truck. SLEEP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So today checked out the Bradley & a lot of rust. Pass door rusted tight. Got thought it & removed the doors, Wind shield ( don't want to break that ) & anything else I could find. Got 2 friend to come over & removed the body to a dolly I had made a few years ago. The frame rolled into the garage & we took the engine & trans out. The floors will need to be replace also. That's it for now, hope I didn't bored you to much. The pictures are washed out from the sun, But the body was great & put together well, till it landed on the dolly & cracked the lower fiber glass. Will wet sand & compound out the gel coat & just paint the bottom. Inside has everything put the carpet which falls apart in your hands. Will need the drives side window? Surprise coming tomorrow.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise Well here it is, my 2002 Subaru Outback with a 3.0 - 6 cyl/auto. The whole car for what I need, then return it back to the junk yard for scape. Now just need to see if she will RUN? Got a locksmith coming down to make a key for it. Better then hot wire plus AAA covers it. Looks like the engine will come up to the rear of the floor pan, which of course needs to be change. Check out that dash! Leather seats! ;D MMMM, I wonder?

The engine purrs like a kitten, but I not getting PARK. The Tran's shift ok & moved it a few feet back & fo.
UPDATE: Drove the car up the street, trans is slipping a little & it won't lock into Park. Noise from the right side somewhere.
Found the Noise!! Was looking in the engine comp & noticed the axle looked wrong. The outer CV Joint is broken off the wheel hub & it's sitting on the tire!!!

Engine & Trans ready to come out.
They won't come out together#$!#@$%. Had to remove all the bolts holding the trans on, boy that was fun. Then they didn't want to come apart!$@#%@# Used a large screw driver & wedge with a BIG hammer & they finally came apart.
Trans fluid all over the place. Engine OUT
Trans OUT
Anybody have idea what all the white flakes on the Alum is from. Was thinking salt water, but lived in Hawaii & never saw that before.
1:00 PM
Next to attack the car wiring, dash, rear end & Misc.

Should have left the torque on the tranny, less mess. White looks like corrosion, Did it see salty roads? When you put the torque back into the trans make sure it clunks twice, wiggle and turn while pushing. Do not try to reassemble the engine to the trans with the torque on the engine. But then again, you know that. If you are going mid engine with the auto you must keep both speed sensors.

Still a way to go on the Outback. Now I need to push it out of the Garage & remove the rear end & start to cut it apart.

Here's the leather seats sitting on the VW pan. Will be doing a Max floor drop & use a lot of the Outback on the VW frame.
Still thinking about the VW front end, wheels would need a large offset if I use it.

Finally got the rearend out. This car is from the North w/SALT!!! There is so many rusted on bolts that have to cut half of them off.
Your looking at the rear of it. THE PLAN! If I can get the dawn thing apart, will remove the diff. & axles. Check to see if the front axles will fit the disc brakes hubs. So much rust the backing plates are falling apart. Will need to add bracing & cut the center section to clear the auto trans.
Still thinking about the floor.

Here it is, the rear section for the future mid-engine setup, IF I can get one of the axle off the hub. Anything is so rusted together. Glad I don't live up in the land of COLD & SALT. I may even try & find a better one. Look at this mess, just to put gas in the darn car!!!!! Give me the "Bad Old Day", (BC) Before computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What chew talkin bout Willis. That is not rusy. Come up here and I will show you rust. Don't forget the assorted valves that are on top of the fuel tank and the fuel sending units. The senders have a temp sensor that you need to prevent codes and the gauge sender feeds the ecm.

There's a hump in the middle & it looks like a transfer tube going over to the pump side. Will need to check it out.

There is a jet pump on the main sender that pulls the gas through that tube so the left side can be used. There are 2 sending units for the gauge, if you just use one the gauge will not read correctly.

Here I am, Crazed Skip trying something very few people will try & most will say CAN"T be done. Well be using the floor pan & firewall for the Bradley. There's room to play with inside the Bradley, but most of the fiberglass panels in the front & some of the body mounting area will need to be removed & mod. Here is the rear section of the Outback body after I've taken anything off that I may or may not need. May put the elec. sun roof on my 2006 Ranger!
And what I will be using with more cutting with the Sawall. One side post has been removed already.
And the front wind shield still to go.
Gone!
After 4 hours of cutting this is what I have.
The dash area on the Subaru is 2" wider then the Bradley The wheel base will be 95" same as the VW with the engine, trans, cross member & rear will will be custom built. The wheel tread is the same as the Toyota Supra I'm using on the other GT II using the stock rims.
The rocker panels will be trimmed down & reinforce with tubing. Need to figure how low to cut the the front & figure out something for the shocks towers.
The VW frame will be scarped & sell the front end with the disk brake. Also most of the metal parts for the Bradley body. Also have a NEW York air cond. motor in the box for sell. Will be selling the compete Bradley dash with gauges as well.
May not use the ABS & not using the air bags, don't want them popping off at me when I'm working on the car.

Been working, Moved the Yellow Bradley off the lift & outside. Put the White Bradley on the lift. A few more things off the Outback. Taken the left overs back to the junk yard.
You may notice that my Yellow - Blue & now Dark Silver Met 2006 Ranger has been painted. The nose of the Bradley wanted to be in there also.
Took the door latch & catch off the driver doors to put the Bradley doors, has elec locks built in also. Will use the heater power mirrors also. Will move the body/frame from of the Subby under the Bradley on the lift.

Don't ask me how I did all this today be my self, just YEARS & YEARS of working smart I guess. Had to steal my trunk from the painter & tow all the scape back to the junk yard. Loaded the doors & VW frame back on the trailer. Moved the Subby body over & pressured washed it & the eng/trans. Move the Subby body under the Bradley on the lift. Lined up the eng/trans to the back to get ideas on the setup. There is about 10" that will need to be removed subby frame.
Get the weekend off as Friday AM I go into Surgery on both my legs due to back circulation.

Nope, sorry been put back on the back burner again. Doing this one for the wife. Was going to keep it stock with the VW, but the motor was frozen solid & the floors were rusted out badly. Paid $500.00 at a junk yard for the 02 Outback in unknown cond. Figured why pay for the parts & time to fix a 57 HP motor & $250.00 for floor pans, when i COULD GET THE 3.0 / auto $500.00 & the wife wanted a auto trans as well. Well, after starting to tearing apart the Subby, got out the tape & started looking. Yes a little more work, But I got everything I need for $500.00.

Contact the guys at www.enginewiring.com... they have experience on the computers & wiring on the 4-cylinder Subaru engnes & might be able to help you 'defeat' some of the features on your application - like the fuel tank sensor signal, VSS, etc.

Happy days are here again. They said I couldn't work on the car or lift more then 10lbs for a week. They didn't say couldn't cut wires. Got my tools, coffee & cig ready to go.
SOOOO, I'm starting to work on the wiring mods. Need to remove the computer wiring for the engine & auto trans to move it back to the rear where the engine will be. The ECU is at the far left of the picture. This is a time killer, so what better way then killing the time I can't work on the Bradley/Subaru. The plan is to use the floor/firewall of the Subby & remount all the wiring & dash back into the Bradley body. This will included the pedals, steering column, AC unit, gauges & console. Maybe even the seats.
Will need to cut off about 8" from the back of the floor to move the engine up to the wheel base of 95" of the VW. Then cut the rocker panels off & add 2"x4" beams to support the floor & engine frame. Will trim the door post down & the firewall to slid into the Bradley body. The floor pan will be level with the side panels of the Bradley GT II.
