First off I want to say, no I am not driving the Bradley W/O brakes in the rain... however with this sudden large amount of rain we have needed all summer now here, itgot me thinking about my windshield wipers. I never used them since the time I bought it and was trying out all the switches until today. Yes they do move up and down, I have to move back in position by hand when I turn off, no big deal.
The thing is my blades appear to be part of the arm (no normal attaching clips), and the tenson in the arm is shot. Before I hire an Igor and play Frankinsine on the system, what do you guys use, where do you get replacements?

perfect timing 455... there is a link on the forum to TheSamba with a Corvair powered GT2 on a VW chassis right here in Michigan. Too bad about the 51, my moms olds 56 super88 is "sitting on the back burner" as one of my future pojects after I get both Bradleys done (well the first time, they will never be done, lol). good luck and keep in touch!

on my way to autozone (in my pickup, don't worry) with one of the "new" masters I thought was junk to get plugs or something i can make plugs out of. thanks again, i know I read aboutbench bleading before, i missed the part on the plugs, and just had short lines pointed up so fluid just sprayed all over the wall. hopfully this will work better.
Also about to order one of those wide pedal sets, and pickup a new pushrod from the local dunebuggyshop. when shes good i'll post an update.

I'm hardly driving it at all right now, I just can't seem to get the master set correctly. how do you set the pistons stop point so it doesn't push all the way to the floor? even going to floor its not working. this is the 3rd new master i've gotten, none had instructions with it.

hows the 455 4x4 coming? haven't heard from you in a while. I recomnd you chck out the frame of that S-10 good before you start, you most likely will have to do cutting and rewelding parts and fabriate your own parts like skip20 is for his subaru powered GT2. Keep us posted, if you need help tell us whats up and we can help you with ideas. Just remember nothing is impossible, if you can dream it, you can do it. It may be more of a nightmare from time to time, but you have to look deeper and see the prize at the finish line. It will take a long time, so don't rush.

I'm still having mastercylinder problems with my 76 GT, so right now I'm just using clutch, gas, and handbrake...yeah I know I need to 'Git R Dun' but I don't hae the time. I like the look of the petal for bigfooted people like me ( 13 wide), people think I have a lead foot right now, i tell them mine i twice the size of theirs so i can go twice as fast... but even in my ford probe i had my feet were catching the other petals too. glad I'm not the only one.

L.M.A.O. It would be worth it just to do that, that may be just what i get for the blue 74 when i get closer to having that one on the road. i have a full set of the yellow number cokpit look gauges from someone on here for it, maybe i'll do a combo of the 2...

one idea is just behind the seat on the lower vertical section of the body. don't do the upper part, you have to think about the gas tank... if you have the fastback, and don't mind pulling the glass, youcould cut threw just above the carb and fan shroud, of corse then it would be loud inside
remember, measure twice cut once, and good luck!

I have 2 GTs, oone of which I was just driving a few minutes ago,the other still in reconstruction. I missed out on a GT2 about four years back, I offerd the owner 600 since it had been sitting for at least 5 years and was incomplete (missing parts and front 1/2 of floorpans). after four monhs of trying to get it, I gave up and less than a week later it was gone. I found it the next day in the local junkyard, they paid him 150 for it, and would not sell it to me for less than 800. it was only three week before boepickers had takenoff all the parts and bought the car piece by piece, I only ended up with a couple items from it.
So that is one less GT2 that I can confirm not in existane.

and there is also appletreeautomotive, jc whitney. Theres a website that anyone dealing with vw can consider the vw craigslist or vwebay, its www.thesamba.com -you don't bid, you just contact the seller and make arrangements. about anything you want from a stock lugbolt to dual turbochargers, you more than likely can find it or something close to it, for less than cst of new. yeah it may or maynot be used, may or maynot work (broken/wrong year), but you never know till you check it out

now what if he were to make it into a roadster like a shelby, only go without a windshield at all. a total open top... then either glass in the lower half of the doors or put hinges on like a standard door? that would save the price and headache of the glass, and give him something even more unique.
did you say this was being given to you? well if you really want it, as a b-gt2 i would say buy a dunebuggy with a fibeglass body, and switch bodies. and while you are driving on the dunebuggy chassis, start the revamp on the orginal. if i was smart, thats what i would have done with my first gt, had that almost 10 years and still havent gotten it road worthey. so ibought on that was, lol
dont make a quickon the spot decision, think about it an follow your heart (and bankaccount)

I think part of the reason for so many visitors and a small amount of comments and posts is you have to be logged in to be able to do either. I know whenever I get on the site with my phone I have to log in, and 1 out of 10 times or so I don't login, I just read the new and updated posts. typically I do login so I can have the little input or question on a subject.
By the way, did anyone else besides me send that person sellling the hats and junk on here alink to craigslist and ebay? it does't have anything at all to do with our cars, or anything anyone had talked about, so it doesnt belong here. now if he had offered to put he logo on the hats then that would have been a great idea.

hey 4x4, Where about in Michigan are you? I went to school at Ferris for Autobody and got my first Bradley shortly after. I've also dealt with an El-Camino on a Blazer frame (one of my classmates toys) lifted something like 38", you could almost walk under it when he was done.
are you doing an s-10 frame or s-10 blazer?

Hey crashdown, did you win that Bradley A/C on ebay or did I read that wrong? If you did win it, can you scan the pages of the book and send it to me via email? I tried laying out the parts as to what goes where, but Something is missing and I can't put my finger on it (if I could put my finger on it, it wouldn't be missing; I know bad joke). Let me know please.

Has anyone else seen / bid on the A/C ki+ on Ebay with directions from Bradley how to install it? My Blue '74 had that same kit installed on it when I got it, but when I switched to dual carbs vs the stock carb setup I pulled the whole system. I'm toying with the Idea of either installing it in the Silver '76 or going with a newer setup. So the website you mentioned above should be helpfull to me.
I might as well go with a new setup, as the old is setup for R-12 and would have to be retrofitted with R-134a as soon as I start. Who knows, I might not even do it at all.
