You can make other windshields fit a GTII. You just have to do a little fiberglassing. Contact Skip20 for details.

I found a weld shop that is open on the weekend today! Had plenty of metal available at reasonable price so I did a little work on the beast.

Glad to see you are still at it! I am awaiting an 80 hour pay cut from my job and things are very tense for state of Ohio workers right now with the budget in the crapper. I am afraid to spend any cash at the moment and also have a vacation to go on soon. So GT II is on hold until after vacation and after Governor gets the state back in shape. I may attempt some fiberglassing soon though.

Near the end of this video is footage of Dar driving his GT II off of the Grand Canyon. Very cool how they used the footage to close the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYFamak4UQs

Hey Greg, I noticed that when I posted the link to the GTE web site, that the site locked up. Please take a look at that link to the GTE site with the bulid up of the red GTE. If that is the culprit, I sicerely apologize. If that site was infected, it did not show up on my antivirus software when I originally visted it to copy the link to it. Please let me know. Glad you are back Greg!

My computer was really freaking out on the Bradley site last night.
Here is what popped up.
index.php_cmp_bradley-gt010_vbtn[1].gif
It appears that there were two trojans buried in the above gif on the Bradley site.
JS_AGENT.PCG
TROJ_IFRAME.CP
I had Trend Micro pop these up and quarantine them. My computer appears to be ok, but I don't trust it yet. Am I the only one who had their firewall ID the problem? Let's hear from some folks.

It is a real pain keeping everything level/square/even/symetrical.

I figured out what the problem is. Rust/rot. The tunnel metal is thinner in spots due to rust in the tunnel. Had to build up some spots with weld material. Ended up burning holes out wider in order to find good metal. Once I hit good metal, I slowly filled in the hole with weld metal.

I am attempting to weld 1/8 inch steel plate to the metal on the tunnel. The metal on the tunnel looks like it is close to 1/8 inch but my welder wants to melt through it. I cut the temp back and it does not want to melt the 1/8 inch plate but does great on the tunnel metal. Any thoughts? Keep in mind I am still learning to MIG weld.
