That was one repair I would have liked to have seen, step by step! That way all of us mere mortals can figure out how you work your magic! Jim

One question. WHY? What was weong with this? Was having problems with the firewall location & space for the seats. The Subby firewall is more forward for more space.

Sorry bout losing the old picture, but life goes on! Working on the Subby floor again & this time I'm cutting the rocker panel off & plan on welding in 2" x 4" steel tubing. The rockers are to wide for the body, plus this will remove the 1/2" lip & will have a better surface to mount the body to.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all, We are STILL HERE
Sorry for the no show. Haven't been doing to much due to the Holidays & Heath issues. Still cutting up on the Subaru Floor pan & pickup one 2"x4"x10' (that's all they had in stock) tubing to reinforce it when I get to weld it to the Toyota rear section.

OK, back to work a little. Finally finished the Saw-All cutting for now to slide it under the body with the eng hoist. Bang, the hoist wheels hit the cross plate of the Lift. Plan "B" ?

Still here, but haven't been working on any of the cars! Got new camera, looks better now. Going back under the knife for adjustments on Friday, so will be on light duty for 2 weeks again. No working on the cars or anything else! Did get a NEW Plama Cutter & tied it into the mig welder for the 220 VAC. It will sit on top of the mig to move it around the garage. Also been working on the Rain Water Recover System. Will have 2 - 300 gal tank off of the house & 2 - 275gal tank off of the garage. The Solar Panel project has been cancelled as the little Baby Hitlers won't let me put them up in the empty yard next to the house. Will be selling off everything I have been getting for thr system. Addes up to about 2Kw kit.

Will they let you put them on your roof? My neighbor has his entire roof covered. Looks like nuts but he sells to Ontario Hydro for more than he pays for hydro. A sweet deal the gov't implemented.

OK, the VW trike is finished (I hope) for now till this winter when the Bradley GTII body goes on. So back to work on the White (Wife's) GTII. Mounted & checked all measurements front to back, side to side & crisscross to be should she was straight. Starting to weld the Subaru Outback floor to the Toyota rear section. Need to make some filler plate around the tunnel hump & sides still. Also will be welding 1.5" to the two parts. some 2"x4"x1/4" Sq tubing will be welded to the rocker panel the up the front for more support.

Cut the center hump off the red section & went to metal shop & had them bend up some 16gs metal for the floor bracing & to cover the center section. It goes down 6" in the back by engine to be boxed in later.

Will the bracing on the driver side is all welded up but welder ran out of gas. So did I! This should make the floor welded area nice & strong. Guess now, will have to add some to the fiberglass fire wall. It slides down over the lip area.
