I am also, I told my boss about it and that I want to use my vacation time for this. I haven't been told one way or the other if its approved or not, but even if I have to call off for this, I'm going.

They told me that they would put all the Bradley's in one area. I was going to register with my own name if they have a club on the form I will put this one down.

Depending on whether my daughter is having surgery that weekend, I plan on being there. I just came home from Florida and passed by Effingham. I can drive it in about 3 1/2 hours.

Well it looks like I won't be going after all unless I figure something out... My taxes didn't come out in my favor this year. Who knows, I might be able to swing it, but I won't know until later.

It now looks like maybe 6 of us going. If all can make it, not too bad of a turnout. I have to give up a car show in Big Rock on Sunday, but there I would be the only Bradley. If the weather gets bloody hot, I have the use of a trailer to haul the Brad down and ride in air conditioning ;D. I hope some more can find the time for this. |

Ok all that's going to funfest in Effingham, IL I called two motels Econo Lodge $50 a night
and Comfort Suites $76 a night they have plenty of rooms right now. If anyone has a preferance let us know. Leonardabell would like us to use the same on so we could get acquainted witch I thought would be a good idea. I didn't check all the motels just the two, They have several motels in the area. Also if anyone would like to email me about anything
k.gwalker1@hotmail.com we could exchange cell #s to find each other. I will only need a room for Friday and Saturday can't see staying for Sunday but that is open right now for me.

We stayed at Day's Inn when we went to Funfest a couple of years ago. Their current rate is $67.99 + tax if reserved at least 14 days in advance. They use the pool next door at the Rodeway Inn. The Rodeway Inn has a senior rate of $69.99 + tax. Either one of these would be OK for me and the wife. Gary Hammond, PS - Just finished registering for VW Funfest online. See you all there. ;D |

I'm fine with either one I just got on line and found a coupe motels to get something started on this. Let me know where your staying for sure and me and my wife will join you and hopefully others will follow.

I just finished Registering on line for the weekend and Sat night buffet. I hope I can get into the Friday fun run. Just let me know which Motel you decide on, and I'll get registared there too.

I asked my wife what she thought about the Days Inn and she was hesitant for me to recommend it for others. Its a very plain, basic facility with a cold breakfast- nothing fancy. The Comfort Suites looks a lot nicer and has a hot breakfast, but the best rate I found there was $89 for seniors. The $76 price Ken was quoted sounds like a good deal, but I couldn't find that on their website for those dates. There are lots of restaurants in the area as well, where we could meet up if we have to stay in different motels. We are ok staying wherever the rest of you prefer.
