Hey all. It has been a very long time since I visited this board. It is good to see that it is still active. I have been a GT2 owner and driver for about 14 years now. I bought her in Arizona, fixed her up and drove her in Texas, and now she sits in a garage in Maryland. I am military so she has seen a lot of travel. In all of her years she has never failed to start up faithfully. Unfortunately, I stored the old girl while I was in Japan and her front wheels seem to have locked up Haven't had the time to get under her, and it has proven impossible to find a reasonable air-cooled mechanic in the area. Still start her up every few weeks and keep her clean. I have noticed that the butt sag is getting much worse since she has been sitting. Has anyone ever experimented with powered gull-wing doors? Is that even a viable option for this car? Glad to be reacquainted with everyone again. Look forward to contributing. Thanks. --Drew

That was it...THANKS!...turns out camber and alignment was jacked up...now no squeaks at 30/32 psi. Thanks again!

So is it low pressure that makes the tires squeal, or too much pressure? I have gone from 15 psi to 35 and can't get the darn things to stop squeaking. I live in a quiet neighborhood and my neighbors already hate when I leave for work in the A.M. I'm running Hillcrest Invader DR-70/14 in the front and FR 70/14 in the rear with no lift.

This may sound like a stupid question, but how do I lock my doors? I have the lock pictured above and the original keys, but no way that I turn push or pull can I get the latch to lock. Am I supposed to push in while turning the key, or do I turn left? Right? I know it is engaging the latch, but no matter what I try, when I push the latch in it disengages the lock...

This is so frustrating...in this age of technology and one-off prototyping, it's tough to believe that there are no other options. Do windshields work like eyeglasses where there is a standard way to measure what is needed? I would really like to compare these dimensions to the millions of other windshields out there - something has to be close enough to use.

So can Sun Ray make them? My GT II is a daily driver and I'm SURE my luck with rocks on the highway is going to run out soon....

I saw an older post requesting interior pictures, but without many replies. I am preparing to renovate my entire GT2 interior and I desperately need some ideas. Thanks everyone! Attachments:
