Just wanted to show the progress on my farm fresh GT1. The body is now on the rebuilt pan. I will get some more pics this weekend. Attachments:

Just another view of the pan that sat in a field for 21 years. The thing broke into pieces as we loaded it onto the trailer. Attachments:

WOW, are you sure it wasn't in a pond?
Glad you are making good progress.

Wow!
That one looks almost as bad as my GT before the 1994-96 ground-up restoration. At that point, it had 17 years and 340K miles behind it.
Best of luck. I truly admire your energy and enthusiasm. If you get through this, that car will be piece of you, and you'll never give it up.
Stay with it.
Good luck and warmest regards,

This one is not as bad as it looks. I drug it home due to the fact it has never been painted or worked on. I always like starting with something in the rough. My last GT1 was in primer when I bought it, and was full of BAD repair work. I paid too much for it and had to put a ton of time into the glass work to get it correct. Does anyone know if SunRay or anyone else offer the hinges for the gullwings ? I have the female halfs on the car, but not the 4 males for the lexan windows.

The following link takes you to a supplier of hinges that are at least very close to the orignial ones. I have bought and used a a couple of sets and have been quite satisfied. www.bosunsupplies.com/products2.cfm?product=S3824-1Hope this helps...Warmest Regards
