Can any one tell me what size the piano hinge is for the motor hatch? The hinge was missing from the kit I bought.

I think they sell 1/2" and 1" in stainless at the Home Depot. Can't remember which one it was. I would just get the one closest to the size of the lip on the body and rear cover.

Hi Doug, Thanks for the plug. gary hammond has a better set up on his .....better than the orginal hinge. Here's what I used on mine. They are stainless steel www.boatfix.com/shop5/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=20856Here's pictures of them installed with the door open and closed. They also come apart for door removal! ;D Gary Hammond,

Hi Dan, Looks like someone was attempting flame thrower exhaust. Nah. That was all I had handy to plug the "sparks" (exhaust) from coming out the threaded hole I welded in for a heated oxygen sensor. The sensor didn't work very well in that location so repositioned it to the #4 exhaust port. So I used a "spark plug" to "plug the sparks"! Guess I could have just welded it shut, but wouldn't have provided near the conversation piece. Anyway, I didn't like that exhaust - popped occasionally on deceleration - so I made one up from scratch. Gary Hammond,
