Been gone a long time. Recognize some of the names from the old board. Fourth Microsoft PC blew about time the old board became infected with a virus. I opted for an Apple this time. Every time I'd go to log in on the old board "Warning" would jump up on the old site. I retired as Fire Marshal at the end of April 07. I had one GT in the garage I'd been working on for a while. A daily driver became available and I bought it. It was in good shape just needed a little TLC. I installed a drop pan on the driver's side. Window mold installed for both gulls. She's got the long window in back. Was about to do an extension of the electrical wiring so I could flip the fuse panel down and around to be accessible. Bumbed my left knee as I'd done when I was 25 yoa. Busted meniscus, surgery and very slow to come back up to speed. Put on too much weight. Not been overly active. This is especially now during the Memphis hot and swelt season. Seems I've always got an excuse not to work on the car. I'm glad to see Troy is still with us. Super guy to know. I started out as a Ukie in model airplanes back in highschool, upgraded to Radio Controlled. Sold it all and started doing blacksmithing. Going back to U-Control with the new version of a Sterling Ringmaster with the sheathed leading edge. Bought a portable sawmill summer of 05. Had it a couple of years with it before retiring so I'd know how to use it. I've been hanging out on a website called the Forestry Forum. Like minded people in and around the sawmill business. Some hobby some for a living. The site members offer a wealth of knowledge. Well run site and family oriented. No ugliness tolerated. Have two grown sons, youngest blessing us with a Gdaughter Madison who turns five next month. She's the light of our lives. Wife of 32 years still works, I try to have supper ready about the time she gets home or a little after. Nice clean new website, just wanted to say hi. Had to re-register, couldn't remember my old login name or password.
