I plan to have it clocked so it runs properly at 120 VDC or so then drive the car with it.

That motor will run at 48 or 96 and will probably handle 120 without any problem in its as manufactured configuration - I have a couple of them that I am fitting into my GTE projects.

Cool. Do you think the Curtis controller is an easy way to go? The controller that was in the car isnt the original GE EV-1, its something else. It looks like lighting hit it, its blasted real bad so I have to replace it with something modern.
