What is the trick to installing the "L" shaped pieces? I am using flat glass "not much different than the curved" and cannot see any way to get it in. I have the manual and followed it but it basically says to install the slider and once the curved H trim is on the bottom of the "L" to install the glass. The H trim causes the glass to be too high and on an angle that will not match up with the slider.

The lower window ledge/guide for the sliding window has to be removed. It allows the slider more movement so the H trim can shift out of position. Also when using flat glass, the H trim goes in BEFORE attaching it to the L shaped glass. I had to omit the seal between the L glass and the H channel. A few coats of release agent on the L glass with a bead of silicone in the H channel solved the problem of no seal. The glass is now easily removable.
