Congratulations on the purchase have fun and don't let things burn you out on it. Remember everyone works at their own pace and the car is of no exception !!! There's a lot of useful info here to read from but don't be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked !!!

I personally know of about 8 that have come and gone here. And I owned 2 of them. I seem to remember talking to Ray one day and he thought he had made around 12 to 15. I could be off on that, but I can't imagine he made many. He started them around 96. The story I got on mine was that it was the first one made after Ray's yellow proto-type. Juan even had to wait on certain parts while Ray designed them. Juan ordered it and waited about 6 months. I ordered one in July of 99 and was told then there was a massive waiting list. A "massive" list would imply one hadn't been produced in a while. He said it took about a month to do one. He said he would call when mine was ready. If I didn't want it then, he'd move onto the next on the list. I did follow up with him a few times over the next year or two, but I'm still waiting for the call LOL There is no one that I have ever talked to that got one from 98 on. That doesn't mean there weren't ones in 98, but no one I know of.

So if you do the math.... Juan ordered in 96 and took 6 months, there don't seem to be any after 97, and they take a month to make.... Around a dozen sounds reasonable to me. To bad too, because to me, they are a great addition to an already cool looking car!
