When I first started ready Kit Car magazine as a child I developed a list of kits I would like to build one day:
1. Manta Mirage: Accomplished 2. Manta Montage: Still looking 3. Sterling: Accomplished 4. Aztec 7: Sitting next to my shop waiting for rebuilding 5. Kelmark: Accomplished 6. Laser 917: Still looking
Since those early days I have added to the list:
1. Porsche Speedster: Accomplished 2. Bradley GT: Accomplished 3. Bradley GTII: Accomplished 4. Dune buggy: Accomplished x3 including a real Manx. 4th one next to my shop. 5. Avenger: Almost accomplished!

Well I still have the Avenger and it should be finished soon. I have an Autodynamics Deserter waiting for me to finish the Avenger. I also have the Aztec 7 wrapped up in a tarp.
All others were sold soon after I finished them. 1 buggy sold in a matter of hours putting in my front yard. Most sold in 2 weeks or less. Being as tall as I am there were really very few I could fit in so selling them was never a doubt.

Clearly one of the ugliest kits ever produced.
I would never restore one.

Adams-probe Invader Yep your right it is ugly, but I'd take it if were to own the Ugliest kit car ! ;D Maybe it would look better with a new cabin area, re-sculptured sides, and a longer windshield. OOPs that is the same problem we have with the GT2 where to get a new windshield?

You have described the raked windshield Invader GT, which does exist & can be found. Several incarnations of the Invader GT were made.
