well its not that new, we have had it a month. but anyway its a almost new monarch metal lathe, with all the bells and whistles, good deal for 500$ some photos so what do you think?

yeah me don't have any yet. the reason we got it so cheap is the guy who had it got it from the milatery, he was told to cut it up for scrap. the fun part was to get it off the trailer.

I'd REALLY like to get at least one of those small lathes you see once in a while. You can ALWAYS find some use for one.

I could think of SEVERAL things I could build with THAT......actually looks like one I had used in an old machine shop I was employed with.....Do you have the Knurling stuff?

Oh yeah just a note I don't know what your back ground is but on the older lathes low spindle speed are achieved through pouting them in back gear and you usually have to hand oile them while using them in this setting usually during threading and knurling operations with that top section on your headstock looking like lt lifts off it might be that type of machine if it is and you don't oil it you will most likely freeze up the headstock and repairing it would be costly

SEND ME PICK OF INTERNAL AND ALL LEVERS MAYBE ABLE TO HELP RAN A LOT OF OLDER MACHINES IN SHOPS
