I agree with Mr, Big, post them! Somtimes someones crazy ideas are just the ticket to figuring out some crazy problem we were stuck with! Im six-two myself, and since I havent put mine on a pan yet, NOW would be the time to figure that problem out. -Mike

ya mike, you will def need them. im just about 6ft and my head is way past the roof on mine. basically its a box with an open end to it. make it as big as the area inside the car where your sitting, cut the original pan out, weld the box in and you have yourself an extra 4 inches. i dont have CAD on this laptop so i will try to show my point in paint. but its really not that difficult. pic coming up soon for some reason it wont let me attach the pic directly to the board. but the first pic is a five min draft of the drop. and the second is a pic of my sebring with a 4in drop on it. notice you can see the drop under the car, that problem can be fixed with some fiberglass side skirts. basically if you have a kit car, and your not a midget, u will need dropped pans to fit... lol

If it is a GT2 there is a problem with the seats interfering with the outside rail - I think the GT1 seats will fit?

I am certainly no midget, so thanks. I did go to the postings and your idea is good, and goes along with one I read here a month or so ago. DEFINATLEY will be dropping, and since the new pans havent been installed, it should be a piece of cake! Which, btw, leads me to another, soon to be very important question: Any one got an extra pair of seat bottoms for VW seats? Never mind, I will start another thread. Anyhoo, thanks for the post. LOVE the red car, gonna keep it?

thats the plan. i was in too deep when i bought it, cant turn around now... lol i just spent a good 3 hours today fabbing up some lift out windows. all in all it went well with just a few problems. and yes most likely with either of the bradleys you will need to modify the seats. the seats in my sebring kit were built specifically for it. once again sorry for the crude drawing, as soon as i get autocad on my laptop i will do a drawing on there thats more in depth for you to follow.
