I have acquired a reworked VW chassis which was purchased in 1999 from Bugstuff in West Brownsville PA.
The 1974 chassis VIN is 1342527301 which indicates it is a Super Beetle chassis. However, it has an adjustable torsion tube ball joint front end.
I am assuming that when the chassis was reworked for the OP, Bugstuff changed the frame head when the new pans were installed.
Soooo, the big question is, are there any significant dimensional (wheel base) differences between a Super Beetle chassis and a regular beetle chassis?

Nope. Once you have the new frame head and torsion front suspension done then everything else would be as a regular Beetle.

Jspbtown,
Thank you for the info. I thought that was the case, but wasn't sure.
