Wherever you think looka best, passenger seat, back seat...jk. I don't carry a spare. I have aaa. You May find it easier to hide a plug kit and air compressor. But if you have good tires and arnt driving cross country I wouldn't be too worried

I am using a molded fuel tank sunken into the back seat so it will not be seen. That leaves me the area in the front end available for such things as a spare. Will I carry one? Not likely.

A can of fix-a-flat is all you need! ;D Plus easier to store!!

Ok, sorry for the last post. Not really. Were you looking for a place to put a spare tire in a bradley, or were you just commenting about reading the posts of where to put a spare tire?

Anyone ever cut the front to make a "trunk"? I was thinking about doing it similar to how the bugs are with the space up front for storage. Just a thought.....Anyone have any insight or pictures?

In the GT 1 you have the headlight boxes. In the GT II you have the gas tank just enough room for the brake resovor. In the GTE, which has an hood opening you have the batteries. Still no room for a spare tire. But room to squeeze a can of Fix-a-Flat and maybe a tire repair kit.

Most of us carry our spare tires around our middles and squeeze them into the seat.

Yes, see my last post above. The rear seat is useless and in my opinion is a safer place for a fuel tank. I did the same to my Beetle by mounting a bus tank behind the rear seat and boxing it in with steel.

From other posts Ive seen, the only spare anyone seems to need is a belt.......and the one smyrnaguy spoke of.....(good one!) Not that I reccomend Fix-a-Flat as a rule, it does seem to be the best way to go. Unless you dont mind mods, then why not try a continental kit?

I've been toying around with the idea of where to put a spare. I have a GT2 and thought about a very thin spare under the front bumper with a ground effects package coming out to the front of the bumper, to hide it . The spare would slide out the front, and add extra weight to the front end . After carrying a plug kit and a compressor in my truck it worked so well the one time I needed it that I haven't worried about a spare since.
