has anyone heard about using a mazda rx7 (or something like that) headlight motor on a bradley 2.i cant remember where i read it but they had said it eliminates the need for the limiter switches for the headlight motor that the bradley 2 came with. bill

i am ordering a linear actuator off ebay(65) for my gt1. they have adjustable travel for limit stop.if you hook ram to a cable to operate the doors you can just mount the unit with ram all they way in and doors closed, when ram comes out opening them it wont matter if travels a little further wont matter due too cable.i am also thing bout maybe adding a similar set up to my gulls and hooking to my car alarm creating remote doors.

Linear actuator is IMO the best solution to the original set up and bounce issue. Someone recently posted a picture.

Darrenz if you did took that idea with the gull wing doors and ran with it that would be epic....And I would love to see it in action.

Sounds like a very good way of ruining a good set of gulls. The first time you open them in a wind, good-by doors.

Now which size linear actuator is that? No axel, no gas tank, no obstrustions, I already admire all that SPACE he has to work on it =)

Linear act are pretty standard. You need one with a 4" travel. If you search my build threads you will find the automatic/conversion wiring diagram.
