Hey All,
Quick question, could not find a definite answer. I got a hold of a '71 bradley gt2 and the frame is rusted beyond repair. I wanted to pick up a better frame, does anyone know what years VW I can get to fit this fiberglass body?
Thanks

From what I ubderstand the GT2 started in 75, so your "71" may be in reference to the chassis you have.
Any Standard Beetle will work. Super Beetle WILL NOT work.
Pics please, every frame is repairable, unless badly smashed.

Thanks for the quick response, I was told it was a 71, but you are probably right and it is just built on a 71 VW frame. I will be able to post some pics as soon as I'm back from vacation. The floorboards are completely rusted through as well as much of the underbody. I figured it would be easier to pick up a cheep frame for around 500?
Thanks

You would be surprised what can be repaired on a vw frame unless there is almost nothing left of it.

Tunnel, framehead & torsion rear are what are important.

Thanks While this may seem to be an easy fix, it can also be a paperwork nightmare. The ownership/title is for the chassis not the whole car. If you change the chassis you have to get it re-registered in your name. Finding a chassis with good paperwork {ie not lost} is getting harder to do.

Welcome to the club Taino! What part of the country are you in? Maybe there is a member close by that can help with the project. Brian
