As with everything else on this car, I assume its either broken or not working correctly. Im wondering if I should just remove the thermostat. My reasoning is this 1) the car has NO need for interior hear 2) The car will ONLY be driven in summer weather, temps ranging from 60-90 and 3) Id much rather have my cooling vanes open at all times than risk them staying shut, cooking the engine and me not know it.
I know the t-stat helps regulate a constant temperate, but given this car may never see more than local driving, Im wondering if its worth it.
