Someone on the old board had the drawings for the Electric GT which included plans for the frame to hold the batteries. I would appreciate it if someone has that handy to post. I was going to adapt the setup for a trailer hitch mounting point.

Hi, Brian,
Let me know if you find out who. I'd like to arrange for a copy to be included on the GTII CD.
Warmest...

Brian & Jeff: That was Mannyman, He did the conversion of a GT-II to Electric, he had all the pages to the GTE Conversion manual, There are somewhere on his web site. [ evorbust.blogspot.com/ ] I did find them at one time and I copied them. I will add them to my web site if that is OK with Mannyman. There are 50 pages to the two manuals. Jeff, I think they should be added to the GTII manual CD. Wyn

Google could not find the page you posted Skip. I have post all the pics of the manuals on my web site. There are 3 manuals 35, 15, and 16 pages. I am putting together a web page to make the pics links available.

Thanks Gary, Thats just what the doctor ordered. Hey Wyn, I guess I am incapable of figuring out where to find the manuals on your website. I think I tried every link you had but could not figure it out. I guess just operator error I suppose.
Skip was missing the "N" on the end of Mannyman in the link ;D

I do not know if anyone is still looking for information, however I have a copy of the electric conversion instructions which includes 4 sections totaling 83 pages (excluding 7 blank), and a copy of the Operators Manual (44 pages excluding 2 blank). These are for the GT II Electric. Additional materials available as well.
Thank you, Michael

My original request actually had nothing to do with the GT II. I was coming up with a way to mount a trailer hitch to pull the Surfer GT and found that the cradle for the batteries could be adapted for that purpose.

Good Afternoon,
I can provide a hard copy of my original GT II Electric conversion instructions, Operators Manual, EV1 parts list and troubleshooting guide, some pricing lists, sales brochure documents, and component data sheets to anyone who desires them. I will send them at no charge, I just need an address to ship to. I do have some PDF files for certain documents; however I am in the middle of restoring the original documents to remove stains, etc. before digitizing the images, and unfortunately my time is limited. I do have rough copy PDF's of most if they will suffice.
Brian,
I am now looking at performing the same task you envisioned now that the Surfer GT Boat is headed my way, fortunately I am starting with a Bradley GT II Electric. Boxing out the original subframe and supports will allow for a strong trailer hitch design that can meet class III requirements.
I am also looking at pursuing the development of a good hitch system for a range extending trailer that I have begun to build.
Thank you All.
This thread has been valuable to me and others. The CAD drawing is great, definitely an added value to the original documentation.
Respectfully, Michael
