Awesome build, Dan. Love the paint job. I couldn't help but notice your seats. What kind are they?
Thanks,

93-95 Nissan 240sx seats. They are a tight fit, no seat adjusters, floor dropped 2.5" under seats.

Thanks for the compliments, a note on the tail light covers, Do not use then in bright sun. They act like mirrors and the tail lights become invisible when on. I have since removed them and the velcro attachments.

Dan,
If that's you driving, you're a big dude. I couldn't help but laugh that you're head is coming out of the sunroof, and that's with a 2.5 inch drop.
BTW, you should change your avatar to be a pict of your Bradley! Sweet ride.

I added a backup camera wired to the ignition so it functions as a rear view mirror when the key is on. Big difference as the whole rear end is a blind spot.

Do you happen to remember what wiper arms you used?
Thanks,
PS Nice Avatar!

I used a set of Rabbit arms but took the mounting/pivot off the arms and replaced them with those from a VW bus. Drivers from pivot to blade holder 17.5" with 17" blade. Pass is 16" with 15" blade.

Watch out for this winter's project. I am not fully happy with the Corvair. It runs great and has power but I think it could use more. Also the sound of the air rushing in for cooling and the exhaust tone is not right for this car. AC and heat would be nice. The fix is a mid engine Subaru 148hp 2.2l complete with the Subaru automatic transmission. I picked up a 98 Legacy in great running condition for $50. The seller even drove it to my house. So far I have stripped the entire car. I kept the engine, tranny, drive axles and every piece of wire and all electrical components. The rad, condenser and all ac and heater components are in great shape. Engine will be visible when the back window is open. As in the past I will take pictures as I go.

Hey Dan,
Just curious, you stated that the ball joint kit you had wasn't the right one to use. Is there a kit you'd recommend?
Thanks,
Matt

I was Corvair powered but over the winter I changed to mid rngine Subaru. I am just finishing up the heat and will do the AC if I can find a suitable evap core and a place to install it. The heater core/blower has used up most of the fresh air box.

Princess auto. Reg $299 on sale for $125. Went through at $70 after taxes. Fits the fresh air box without mods. 36000 btu. 3 speed dual cage blower. Subaru need coolant recirculating through the heater hoses so I got a 4 hose recirc valve at the wreckers from a ford ranger ( I think ).

The gas struts used on the GTII doors, glass hatch, and engine cover are found on Ford Pintos, circa '78-'79 - from the Pintos that had the all-glass hatch back.

Just removed it & the ev is by it's self with the bower mounted behind it. You could put it in front of the heater core & use it's blower. Have cond. & it least the high pressure hose. They still have all the plugs on them also. There seems to be 2 compressor motor mount & a new YORK compressor. Have not come across the clutch for it.
