I have finally collected the parts needed to install an AC system in the GT. I bought, but don't intend to use, a York compressor and bracket from a Beetle. For the life of me I can't see how that bracket attaches to the block. Any chance I could get some of you folks with AC to post photos of your compressor brackets and attachment points? I'm going to use a new Sanden 134A compressor possibly with an adapter, probably with a fabricated bracket. I just don't know where to/ to what attach.

The AC bracket bolts to exhaust manifold at the head, front and back. And the third mounts to one of the bolts at the oil breather stand.

I see now that I was not sent the entire bracket assembly. I have only the main bracket. No supports, no idler.

Check my signature for pics of the GT II I'm working on. It had a complete A/C system on it.
