Whats used in the bradley gt for a fuel tank? I have a hole in the top over the left rear wheel well and it looks like 3 bolts held a fuel cap on, but i have no cap or tank.

In case you don't know about searches on this board, one of the options at the very top of the page is the "search" (with microscope). If you click on it it gives you options like Google, etc. Just make sure you change the days (time) option, because it defaults to 7 days, I usually put in 365 days. Following is one string done on fuel tanks. bradleygt.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=287&page=1The standard GT 1 fueling design is really bad. The fill tube coming off the side of the tank makes for very slow filling after the tank is half full. Best to make the fill tube dump directly into the tank from the top. What you describe was the fuel lid assembly included in the original Bradley kit, which was obtained from a marine supply company, as was a good number of parts on the original Bradley. Regards,

The fuel tank was/is rectangular and sat above the engine under the rear deck. Original design fuel filler went in where you described it, but doesn't have enough slope to it for the fuel to flow into the tank quickly. Get the cd from Jeff Troy, money well spent, it describes and shows how to change this so fuel goes into the tank in the middle and from the top, letting gravity help the fuel flow into the tank better.

As far as the tank itself goes, you could have a shop fab up something for you thats fits the area above the engine, or do like some others have done and make something up that goes in the front of the car in the small space available between the top of the beam and the fiberglass body. Original tanks are gonna be hard to find I think. My tank was made by the previous owner. I could take measurements and post them here if I remember tomorrow. It is not real big, maybe 12 inches high, 12 inches wide, and about 30 inches long.

Yeah, sorry. My computer has been giving me fits for about a year and I finally got everything back up and running again.
