I was doing some research into DOT lighting regulations and found that headlights may not be lower than 22" measured from road surface to the center of the lights nor higher than 54". I measured the headlights on both my GT1s and found them to be at 18" and 19"respectively . Both cars currently have 14" wheels. A real nit-picker inspector could fail both cars unless a 3-4" body lift is installed. Luckily here in NC if a vehicle is over 25 years old it does not need inspection. What is your headlight height? Has anyone's car ever failed for their lights being too low?

that must be why on alot of lowriders they install hydraulics. To make their car jump high enough to pass inspection?
