Question - The GT2 assembly manual instructs the builder to remove the driver side heater control lever and cable from the console leaving only the passenger side. This leaves the flapper on the driver side exhaust heat exchanger closed with no means of opening it. A hose is installed from the driver side heat exchanger to the tube that runs through the body to the front driver side vents however with the flapper valve closed no warm air will flow through the hose. Am I missing something? Is there a connection to the driver side flapper valve. If not, why bother to connect the heat exchanger to the body tube? Would appreciate any help provided...

Going off memory here since it has been forever since I built a kit but I believe the single handle operates both flappers. The second handle was designed to divert air within the passenger compartment.
So one handle has two cables on it going to the flappers. Pull the handle and both flappers operate. The other handle is not used as Bradley did not offer a system to divert air within the passenger compartment.

In mine the left lever operates the left flapper and the right operates the right side for "dual zone climate control." I bought it this way, but as long as you have cables that are the correct length, it's very easy to set up this way. I believe the cables used are pedal bike cable brake wires and sleeves, so you might try that or maybe clutch cable sleeves? I think the bowden tube might interfere with brake lines or suspension, though.
