I was brain storming some ideas while I was running errands today about ways to make the Bradley rear look cooler and still be functional. To me the car seems like a cross between a C3 vette and a GT40. I was also thinking about ways to give the engine some more ventilation since I plan on keeping the engine tin. Did some searches online and found the gt40 used a rear grate/grill. Would be perfect for a extra ventilation and would make the bradley end pretty neat. What do you guys think?

Why do you need air there? All the cooling is done underneath anyway. The fan can't pull that much air and cram it into those tins to justify such a large intake/vent. Now if the engine area were sealed between the fuel tank and rear panel then some kind of scoop or intake would be necessary just so the carb wouldn't starve. It kind of looks cool though in a super rain catcher way. Something about that Ford emblem that really doesn't look right. Eh what do I know?

Here's a Picture of Steve's 2 with the plexi engine cover When I got the car the cover had been smashed and the scoop was cracked in half. I had a friend bend a new piece of plexi (120 degrees in case you're interested) and went on line and found some boat vents that I liked and after a few tries at cutting the stuff I came up with this: a closer view:

It's great to see what people come up with several good ideas for the back. I'm in the process of frenching my tail lights in and putting a wing on my Bradley GT II. Also I might french my head lights. Keep all your ideas coming I enjoy seeing them.
Thanks Kensaw210

One fairly simple option is to fabricate a removable rear window assembly with fiberglass. I am pleased with mine. To see my construction procedure, click below. www.swrnet.life/bradley/list13.htmlWarmest Regards,

I was brain storming some ideas while I was running errands today about ways to make the Bradley rear look cooler and still be functional. To me the car seems like a cross between a C3 vette and a GT40. For looks it is an interesting idea. In fact, I have two rear deck lids, one of which I ventilated. It turns out to be a bad idea. It is very best to cut the holes inside the GTII deck lid as instructed that makes the scoop a 100% functional part and drains water out the rear bottom. Look at it! Isolating the top from the bottom of the engine in the bay is one of the best things you can do to keep the engine healthy and strong. I can post pictures of my setup if you want pictures. With my 4:1 headers wrapped in carbon-impregnated fiberglasss tape, I can literally place my hand anywhere in the isolated top end after a hard run and feel nothing but warmth. If you want to vent it, feel free, but it's only for looks. = 20 years experience with this
