I have found a company to make replacement windshields: Curved Glass Creations 4100 N Powerline Rd T2 Pompano Beach, FL, 33073 Email: info@curvedglasscreations.com Website: www.curvedglasscreations.comPhone: 888-288-9129 Fax: 954-917-0040 I am in the process of shipping them a windshield such that they can make a mold. Once the mold is complete, they can make additional windshields at reasonable cost. The 1st one is expensive, I don't know what the cost will be for subsequent units. should be available in a few weeks...

Looks like the cost after the 1st one will be about $550 plus crating and shipping. Not cheap, but it appears to be the only game in town. I've decided against trying to ship them my cracked windshield and will deliver it sometime in September. GT 2 windshields should be available a few weeks later..

Curved Glass Creations has my cracked GT2 windshield and are in the process of making the mold to reproduce it. The 2 windshields I've ordered should be ready in about a month from today. If you are interested in having a GT2 windshield made, give them a call. As I noted above, new windshields will be $550 plus crating and shipping....

Hey! New member here. Thank you for posting about the windshield supplier. I just called Curved Glass Creations and they told me that they will only make more windshields for the Bradley GT2 for the person who ordered the mold (I'm guessing you). They will not sell someone a windshield from the tooling they made for someone else. They were more than happy to have me pay for another mold (at full price - which you must know was a lot!). Any chance you would be willing to order another one at the price mentioned above ($550 +s/h) and then let me buy it from you?

I will contact Curved Glass Creations tomorrow 12/31 to straighten this out. The deal was that they would make a windshield for anyone that requests one. Will update this post after I speak to them...

Tried to call Curved Glass Creations today. Got their answering machine, I guess they closed for New Years Eve. I sent the owner an E-Mail letting him know that it is ok to use the mold they made for my windshields to make windshields for any other GT2 owners who want them. Please let me know if anyone has trouble ordering. As I don't check the forum regularly it would be best to E-Mail me - jetski983@aol.com
Best

Hi, I am in need of a GT2 windshield. I contacted Curved Glass Creations and they quoted me a $8500 mold making fee for the glass. I saw that you had a mold made. Did you ever get it resolved where the mold could be shared or as the previous poster stated, I would be willing to buy the glass from you if you would order. I am restoring a Bradley GT2 and this is my hang up. I really don't want to have to modify the windshield opening if a glass is reasonably available. I just can't afford $8500 for a windshield.

I contacted them, sounds like I need to find the right person. They said they have to check if they still have the mold and that it would cost $925 per panel plus $225. So we'll see what happens.

More on the continuing saga of Curved Glass Creations and the Bradley GT2 windshields Another GT2 owner contacted CGC regarding having a windshield fabricated. They were told that while CGC did have the mold, they were missing additional required measurements. I contacted the owner and was told that they needed to do a 3D scan of an intact windshield to get curvature information for their files. I recently had reason to drive down their way so I took my spare windshield and let CGC scan it. As of today, they have all the information required to fabricate windshields for anyone who wants one.
Now for the bad news: Due to the supply chain issues the price has doubled. A GT2 owner was quoted $1,200 for a windshield. I think anyone who has the luxury of waiting should hold off on ordering a windshield to see if the price goes back down once the safety glass becomes more available..
The windshields are manufactured from laminated safety glass. However, CGC does not have a DOT certification that allows them to engrave the windshields with the DOT required info. They do maintain a SGCC ("Safety Glazing Certification Council") certification, you can find their certification document(s) online. What does this mean? - While it is laminated safety glass it has not been certified for automotive use an installer may not be willing to install it.
I've chosen to use the CGC windshield and install it myself, anyone considering purchasing a CGC windshield should take this into consideration.

Kitcar guy, what is the deal on the GTII windshields? The Supply Chain, that's a bullnuts excuse. Glass is glass, and is an excuse to gouge us Brad owner's. Once they get the molds, which you have done, that laminated safety glass should be no more than $450 a unit. What are you seeing as the current market price? I need two myself and am willing to drive to FL to get them. Let me know......and thanks! Keith--

More on the continuing saga of the GT2 windshield. When last we left our heroes they had Curved Glass Creations ("CGC") make a mold from an original windshield and produce two new windshields. The deal was that I would pay for the mold and then anyone else could have a windshield made from it at a reasonable cost originally estimated to be around $500. As you can see from the above discussion this never happened. When I questionned CGC's owner he said that they had disposed of the mold but that if I would bring one of the windshields they fabricated by their shop they could use their new laser measuring equipment to use it to make a replacement mold. As I had a need to drive from my home in New Jersey to my other hom ein the Florida Keys, I agreed to bring one of the replacement windshields by their shop to be measured. I did this probably around a year ago. When I attempted to install the windshield(s) CGC fabricated they didn't fit and in trying to get them to fit, I broke both. It appeared that the shape was correct but the circumference was too large. After I broke the first one I tried to get a local shop to grind the outside to remove 1/8" all the way around. I could not find a glass shop that would touch it. In the end I bought a diamond wheel and ground it myself. Unfortunately, this leaves a rough edge making it easy to crack the glass. I think it would have fit if it didn't crack.. When I discussed this with CGC they asked if I would bring the car to their shop such that they could measure it. Not wanting to trailer the car to Ft. Lauderdale I went looking for another vendor. I found Bent Glass Design, Inc. in Hatboro, PA which is only an hour and a half from my New Jersey home. They are a big operation manufacturing curved glass for all the major marine companies like Viking Yachts, Cigarette etc. I took the car to them and they measured the windshield opening with a laser such that a steel form could be fabricated. Four months later I have a windshield! (at great expense) I opted for clear glass with the applicable DOT certification. Installed the windshield today and it fits perfectly! If I could figure out how to post a picture here I would, it looks awesome! It's a similar deal as with CGC, I paid to have the mold fabricated others are welcome to use it to have windshields made. This is not their normal procedure as they would typically seek permission from the mold owner before agreeing to use the mold for another customer. I told them that I have no interest in getting involved and the compromise is that as long as the customer references me by name they will use my mold. Anyone whose interested should contact Brendan Kinslow brendan@bentglassdesign.com 215-441-9101 Make sure to mention my name - Dave Hughes I do not know what they will charge for a windshield. I figured I would bump this up to the top again for those with a GT2 .
A group member has been in contact with Bent Glass Design. Here is what you will pay for a new windshield as of today
$2100 for the windshield $450 set up fee $250 crate fee
Grand total of $2800 plus tax and Shipping cost. You are going to be over $3000 to get new glass but nobody can say its not available now. They also will not guarantee that it will fit and will not be responsible if its broken during install because the mold/scan was done on Daves car and may have variations from yours.
