Bradley project up for sale since I don't have time to finish it. Body is in pretty good shape with no major damage or cracks, just a couple of areas that need a little fiberglass work. It has a good windshield but no doors. I used the old long back window as a mold and made the rear fiberglass piece that has been reinforced in the center and a window frame laid up in fiberglass to fit the rear window from a VW rabbit which is included. This should allow the fastback look without all of the issues the original Windows have. The rear top is not glassed in place yet and could be hinged or made removable if desired. The car has a brand new wiring harness in the box that was made specifically for a Bradley off of another body. It is not a generic buggy harness.
The pan is an IRS roller and has new early model floor pans tacked in place. I have removed the Beetle heat controls and moved the shifter back 4 inches. The shift rod has been shortened and installed with new bushings and all that remains is to weld or otherwise install a cover that I was thinking of leaving accessible for future maintenance. The front end has been refinished and all of the ball joints have been replaced. Engine has had the top end overhauled with new cylinders, pistons, and rings and the heads have been redone by the local VW shop. It is a stock 1600 with a Solex carb and I have run it. All of the cylinder tins and associated parts have been refinished. There are also seats, headlight doors and some other misc. parts. The market for these cars is pretty low so I'm asking $1,200 obo. The car is located in Carrollton, Ga and will need to be picked up. If you want more info please give me a call at 77O-367-O235. I have pictures I can send but can't figure out how to post them here. I'm gonna put it on Craigslist but thought I'd try here first because I love for someone to finish the project.
