There were no brake calipers installed on my GT II when i got it. I have discovered that the Karmann Ghia calipers line up perfectly. The master cylinder ports for the front brakes are capped off. Can someone tell me what size (diameter) brake line I need to get (and proper thread size for the nut) as well as what type of flare I should use? Bubble, Double or Single?
Thanks

Its a bubble flare. I believe the nut size is 10mm x 1.0.
Your local NAPA has these in stock, pre=made correctly, in a variety of lengths. I strongly suggest you go that route.

I took the advice and got one pre-done from the autoparts store. My kids got me this for Father's day, and I'm dying to try it, but not yet. Flaring Tool
