My dad bought this car for me when i was born and I always had planned to fix it up, but circumstances have lead me to putting it up for sale.
The chassis and engine have sold already, but I also have a spare engine and 4 shelby cal 500 wheels with tires for sale as well.
I have some miscellaneous parts included and it's sitting on a boat trailer that is also for sale.
This body is in decent condition. One crack runs vertically from the base of the back seat.
Includes all windows (not pictured). Cracked, but intact windshield.
I was just reading through this forum and finally found out what was causing the doors not to fit like they used to (look up "butt sag")
I'm sacrificing this sentimental project for my karmann ghia, but if someone buys this I'd love it if they could post or send me updates/pictures of their progress.
I posted on craigslist a few days ago and listed it at 1000 bucks with the trailer
Without having checked out this site I valued it at 800 and 200 for the trailer, but it's gotta go.
This was at one point in my possession a nearly complete car. After some consideration based on other posts, $600 obo for anyone coming from this site.
