How many bolts are holding the body to the chassis? Is it a complicated process? Going to be sending it to paint soon and I want to remove the body and send it off to paint while I build the engine and upgrade the brakes. All of the responses and tips are really helping me. THANKS!! Luke

Luke...that's almost an impossible question to answer. I have seen some kits that used a few machine screws to mount the body. I have also seen some that have used so many bolts it would amaze you.
If I had to guess I would say 4 or 5 along each side rail would be average. Then maybe 2 to 4 machine screws along the front arch and rear section.
The shouldn't be that hard to spot once you pull the carpet back.
Make sure you have your system to remount the body before you send out for paint. You don't want extra holes everywhere.
