Hello, I'm new to this forum with a '68 Bradley GT that I recently purchased.
Currently working on the wires, then need to fix the doors... and lights.. motor looks fine, already got it started.
Does anybody have official technical specifications of the car? I mean - dimension, weight, wheel base, etc... I know that some data is identical to a beetle, but still body specifications are different. Is there a manufacturer list that includes all the technical specifications?
Thanks, TS

Hi Gary, thank you for the drawings and sorry for the delayed response... I am trying to export my Bradley GT to Europe (France) and the Customs there requires to see the original manufacturer specifications... they want to verify that the car was not changed from it's original, otherwise they won't let me import it into the country. It might sound funny to you but that's the way it works in most of the countries in Europe. Do you have any additional technical information about the Bradley GT? Of can you refer me to anything? For example, is it written anywhere about the tire size? I know it is the same as for beetle, but still is there anything mentioned about tires? I'm asking because Customs and the local DMV are very tough on tires size, they won't let wide tires or larger wheel size, or anything which is different than the original...
Thanks! TS

Bradley GTs are seldom built with stock Beetle tires. Most cars are constructed with either 14" or 15" Chevrolet wheels on adapters. So there really is no such thing as a stock tire size. Tire width and height will be determined by the back spacing of the wheel, fit in the fender and the desires of the owner. Some people with body lifts have installed even taller wheels with low profile tires. Good luck nailing this down.

Hi TS, Since these are owner built kit cars there is no standard wheel and/or tire size. Chassis could be swing axle or IRS with any after market wheels that would fit or be adapted to fit. Or could be original Beetle wheels and tires which varied in size from year to year. But most cars will have after market wheels and tires. Gary Hammond,
