Picking up this Bradley GT on a 1965 VW frame in the morning in a trade for a dirtbike. What do ya think it's worth? My son is excited to have project to work on together.

Well lets see....no idea if it runs, no idea if it stops, no idea about floors or wiring. Not sure if it has the doors.
So...maybe $500?

It runs, stops, everything works except the fuel gauge. It's registered and ready for some fun on the road. Just the engine is worth more that $500.

Depends on what the engine is. A 1500cc H code isn't worth scrap weight in my opinion.
Running, stopping, road ready basic Bradley GT....I would say in the $2000-$2500 range if it has the doors and back window.

No doors? No back window? No windshield wipers?

$500-$800 is what I would pay for it. At the end of the day it appears it was "Worth" the dirtbike you traded for it. . What engine is in it that makes you think the engine is worth $500 alone?

That looks like a pretty clean crisp GT to me, I'd ease up on this gent a little,
if my dad came home with this for me to share, I'd be doing headstands like Boingee Baxter!
Good luck with that Mr.Bigness and a warm welcome!!!!

Well we have had it a few days now. It's so fun driving around town and seeing the big smile on my sons face. He has a lot of ideas on what he wants to do to the car.

Yes, Welcome to the family Bigness & Little Bigness. Just bringing that smile to your sons face is well worth every cent of the car no matter what you paid (traded) for it. Hope the two of you can make a lot of good memories with it, there will be bad as well however the end result is for the two of you, it is more than just a car, it is part of each other, you will always have the times the three of you spent together (you, your son, and the Hulk - if you name the car, lol)
