gentlemen,
i just purchased this bradley gt that was in michigan. therein my problems begin, both the seller's michigan title and registration list a vin number of MICH76103. this number apparently cannot be searched or traced.
i live in ohio and my title bureau cannot do anything until that vin number is found on the vehicle. i have looked every where and cannot find such a number. i have found the orginal frame number, which is for a carmen ghia and the engine number which is for a 60s 1500 single port engine. however, ohio will not accecpt the frame number since it is not listed on the title.
i have attempted to contact the michigan bureau of motor vehicles, with no luck, one prompted message to another, never a human.
can anyone tell me where michigan would have placed this number on a gt, is it a decal, stamped, etc.
thanks for any help

You will need to take the title & registration to Michigan (BMV) Bureau of motor vehicles, They issued it.
The new vin tag is usually pop riveted over the old vin #. They may have put the Bradley on another frame & didn't relocate the new vin tag. Worst case do a title search on the old vin and follow Ohio's procedure to get a title for the Ghia under abandoned vehicle or mechanics lean. Good luck

I had a similar problem here in Massachusetts I went to a trophy shop and had them make me a vin tag ... Installed in in the engine compartment and away I went

Here's one I made up a while back download the file and like jman says take it to a trophy shop you'll need to add some numbers & letters and have them burn it on to aluminum then rivet it to the inside door sill or some place obvious.
