I am looking for a new exhaust for my Bradley. It has a 4 tip Monza on it now but it sits to low and dosn`t look right.Any one tried the Bugpack Megaduals with baffles.I was wondering if they will clear the deck lid.I have the shorter deck lid. Also how do they sound, very loud?

Hi Aircoolguy I also didn't like the "guts hanging out" look. I didn't think that it went well with the GTII back end. I opted for the Thunderbird Euro-tuck exhaust. I got it from Chirco in 2002. I checked and they do not currently have it listed on their web site. They may still have it in their warehouse. Thunderbird Exhaust has a site under Petronix. www.pertronix.com/prod/ex/thunderbird/default.aspx#PerformanceExhaustSystemsHere are a couple of pica. Mine has been modified using larger 2.5" pipe and monza resonator tips. That was for better breathing on the large motor Good Luck GaryG

The 4-tip Monza has always been considered to be one of the more restrictive exhaust systems on the market; Hot VW's tested one 10-15+ years ago & found it to be restrictive on flow -
I don't recommend them -

I had the Monza style exhaust on my daily driven beetle until fairly recently. I opted to put the stock beetle exhaust because I couldn't take the noise anymore for everyday driving. Anyways, it was like night and day the difference between the two exhaust systems. The monza system was way less restrictive and definitely provided more power, especially in the top end.
