I haven't been on here in a while but I finally finished the convertible top and gull wing doors for my Bradley GT Bat Car. I will try to upload some photos. If not scroll to the bottom of my web page.http://www.batdude.com/batcar.html I am not sure if I did the photo right, but I am close to finishing my car after 10 years. Bob

Hi George,
I am in Benson. Benson is about 50 miles Southeast of Tucson on Interstate 10 and about 20 miles North of the town of Tombstone. I think you are about 150 miles from here. If you ever make it to Benson look me up. I run the tourist information center (the train station)on 4th Street in downtown Benson.

Bob,
We were down in Benson a couple of months ago. We were at the train station while we were there. Wish I had known about your BAT CAR then. If you will send me you e-mail address, I will send some photos of my GTll and also I will send notices of our Arizona Kit Car Club meetings in Phoenix. We would love to have you visit us sometime and show off your car. My address is whitney.gm@gmail.com
I have tried to post photos on this site, but I have not been very successful.

Thank all of you for the kind words. I have had a blast doing all the work over the past ten years. I still have a few things to do to be 100% complete. Gregory: my email address is batdudeaz@hotmail.com . If I make it to Phoenix I will definitely look up your club. I would probably wait until after it cools down before I would go to Phoenix. A black car with no inside venting in Arizona can be very uncomfortable. I had a high of 109 the other day here in Benson and we are a lot cooler here at 3,500 feet altitude than Phoenix. I will be in touch.

Wow, can't believe it's been 10 years already! That makes me look at what I have and haven't done and wonder where has the time gone... On yeah, when I have the time I don't have the money to use the time, or just the opposite.
Either way about it yours looks great, and its time well spent. I love how well everything flows. I need to check out your site again, but it appeared the last time I saw it you went from convertible windshield only to full roof. Is it set up for quick release back to just windshield?

Never mind, I just answered my own question by checking out your page. Just can't see how you lock the rear pillar down. Is it the same basic latch for the center over the windshield?

Hi CC Dodge: I can't believe its been 10 years either. Where did the time go? I used Southco heavy duty draw latches. batdude.com/car_images/5-1-8.en.pdf I used one on each side and one on the windshield center. I made a metal tubing frame inside the "T" top and welded the draw latches to the frame. If you haven't seen the "T" top page here it is: batdude.com/T_Top.html Actually it is good for me to go back and remember how I did things five years ago when id built the top. Take Care - Bob in Benson, AZ
