Not one, but TWO (2) 1977 Bradley GT 1s with clean titles. The bodies on both of them are in excellent condition other than a few very minor cracks near the engine compartment of the white one. Friend decided to open the "hood" after I got it home. One is white and one is a reddish orange. Both have clear titles. Located in Harrisburg, IL. Asking $ 5000 or best reasonable offer for the pair. Do not really want to separate. Please no low ball offers and no trades. Trying to make room. Too many projects already.
The first Bradley GT 1 is white. I was planning on restoring this one because I believe it was one of the few actually manufactured by Bradley Automotive and is not a "kit" car. The title for the white one says "Bradley" on it for manufacturer, not Volkswagen. The body is in very good condition. It just has a couple of very minor cracks. The interior needs redone. It has the original Bradley wheels on it. All the gauges are there and work. I drove it into my garage a couple of years ago and everything worked, however the motor leaks oil. There is no back window.
The other one is reddish orange. I purchased this one for its motor and parts. This one is definitely a kit car and it's not finished. It's title says "Volkswagen". I bought it to use the parts to finish restoring the white Bradley. This body is in excellent shape. It has the gull wing doors, a cracked windshield and also has no rear window. The interior is in excellent condition, some of the gauges are in, but the speedometer and tach are not installed. I was told when I bought it, the motor was rebuilt but looks like a brand new one. It starts and runs perfect. It needs the brakes fixed and the headlights do not work and something about the steering wheel.
I was going to put the motor and interior from the red Bradley into the white Bradley to restore it. I just have too many projects going on right now and need the space. I also have 2 boxes of miscellaneous parts including the gauges, rubber stripping, 2 new master cylinders and more.
My loss is your gain. I just need this project and all the parts that I bought for it gone asap. I don't have many pictures of the white Bradley because it is in my small garage. These are pictures from when I bought it home.
