Must go ASAP!! I have had the GTE since the late 90's and the GT2 kit since about 2003 with hopes of restoring but have never got there. Time to give up the dream. Both cars are located on Long Island in New York. Cars will be sold with just a bill of sale. the GT2 kit will come with all of the parts and Books that were sold with it when i bought it. I know the GTE was owned by the Vanderbilt family and was won in an auction by the people who gave it to me all those years ago. Buyer will have to figure out transport of vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain a real GTE and a lot of parts including 2 full sets of glass. PM me with offers and contact info. Again, they must go as soon as possible. A reasonable offer. Between the kit and the GTE I've spent almost 4.5k I know I probably won't get that back but I'm considering all fair offers. PM me. The worst I can say is no thanks.

I'm aware of that. Which is why I'm considering all reasonable offers...... The 2 windshields are probably worth the most out of the whole schabang lol.

Been away and crazy with family stuff. Yes, both cars are still available and I would rather not split them up, but I'm open to offers on both or each separate. To all interested, the GT/E has one significant advantage if you convert to a VW engine: the engine bay is much wider which allows you to mount dual weber carbs and lift the engine straight up into the body. Otherwise you have to build in after the engine is mounted. A lesser thing is that usually the front hood is cut so that it really lifts up for access. |
