I'm new to the Bradley GT. I have am opportunity to purchase the following project car for $250. I need advice from guys like yourself who have worked on these cars. Here's what I Know:
The car does not have the tops or any glass. The chassis is complete minus motor. Pans will have to be replaced. From the pics, all gauges are in tack, shifter in the car, steering wheel.
Is this worth the $$ for this car? I understand the work that will have to be done as I have built a Tuff Tubb dune buggy recently.
Thanks for your response.

I guess that's a tough question. Is a Bradley body & pan "worth" $250? I guess so. If you built a Tuff Tub then its basically the same thing as a Bradley. The Bradley GT uses a corvette windshield which isn't that expensive. The doors and rear plexi are pretty much impossible to get.
So if you want to basically build a dunebuggy that kinda looks like a car then this is your project.

I've gotten less for more. But I do have a nice set of smoked doors if you live in New England somewhere just to expensive to ship

It's okay as long as you are sure it is a GT not a GTII.

Jman, did you get your gulls new, that is did they have a part number on packaging or did you get them from someone who had/has a Bradley? Im just in need of a number to turn into Belle Tire so they can buy me a replacement for the gull they broke (drivers side). Or if you are willing to part with just the drivers side, can you PM me your contact info and I may be able to have them buy it from you in which they would cover the shipping to Michigan.

If the body is in good shape id say its definately worth $250. All of the VW parts can be purchased or rebuilt.

Remember though if a gull window has been fitted to a car it wont necessarily fit another car. Every one was different.
