Folks: i have been a proud Bradley GT owner for 7 or 8 years now. Used to post occasionally and made one trip to Carlisle where i met the famous Jeff Troy. Unfortunately i find myself in a position where i have to Sell my beloved Bradley. Long story short- getting a 60 year old body with bad knees into a car without doors just doesn't work anymore. I like your collecitve opinion on what my car might be worth or if anyone is interested in it. It's a Pumpkin Seed Color (love to know who came up with that name) based on a 67 or 69 Beatle i can never remember. The body is in fairly decent shape, solid but could use some TLC, two working doors, long style rear window, new seats. A few years ago i did a body off frame restoration. New dropped, floorboads (ala Jeff's CD), new breake lines, shifter, gas guage, speedometer cable, brake cable and maybe a couple of other things. The car is running, registered and inspected but my mechanic says the motor is shot (apparently the camshaft is going and it won't be long). I can't in all honesty sell it as fully functioning vehicle, the motor will have to be replaced sometime soon. What are your thoughts as to the value of the vehicle? i'm located in Buffalo, NY. I am also looking for a MG-TD replica if anyone is interested in a trade. Thanks for your input. PatinBuffalo

A Brad that needs some TLC with a bad motor, but complete, is in the $2000 range in my opinion. Maybe less.

I was going to go with $1000-$1500 range myself.

If you could provide some photos from when the chassis was redone showing the pan drop, and with the fact the gull wings are both intact, $1500-2000, sounds like a solid base price... Does it still have the 4 wheel drum brakes or disk? Any details of the recent work done should add to your negotiations with prospective buyers. Example, if you replaced the shocks, did you use gas shocks, coil over shocks, or had an air ride system put in... Prospective buyers will try to pick it apart to get the price down, so when you are able to provide details of the additional items / upgrades to show them they do not want to pass you by, that this really is the car they want. Photos would really be helpful in giving you an accurate price range. If you need help uploading some, just ask and someone might be able to help with posting them.
